Captains Oven Pizza North Vancouver

It was my first time trying it there pizza and I was a bit confused about what to order. Lisa was incredibly kind and helpful. she took the time to guide me and suggested a great pizza for me to try. It turned out to be absolutely amazing. The service was friendly, and the pizza was delicious. Thank you lisa for making my first experience so enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back.

I ordered their Ricotta special pizza. It was really flavorful. I loved the crust. Very friendly staffs. Must try!

It was really horrible. I went there on Friday to personally order and take it home. While I was standing there, an old lady was putting the pizza ingredients on the bread without gloves, with hands that were constantly rubbing everywhere. Sometimes she was on her head, sometimes on her face with the same hand. Another person who was preparing the bread was constantly sneezing, it looked like he had a cold. He was really upset. I canceled but I felt it was my duty to inform others. Some people may not care about dirty food, but it is really dangerous for your health.

I gave this pizza place a chance. Look at this pie! It tastes as good as it looks. 10/10. Very Friendly staffs. Highly recommended!!

I’m not sure what has happened with this place. Previously, both the food and the staff were top notch. However, recently the pizza doesn’t taste the same as before, and the staff are not as friendly as they used to be.
There was a short Indian woman who always welcomed us with a big smile and took care of even the smallest details for customers. Unfortunately, I no longer see that level of service here.

Today we were there for dinner. Unfortunately, your staff were not as friendly as before. When we were leaving, one of your employeesa young, tall woman with darker skin than the other girlwas speaking very disrespectfully and aggressively to a delivery driver. After we went outside, I saw that the driver was very upset.

Sometimes one rude employee can damage the reputation of a business.

XL 1/2 Smoked Salmon & 1/2 The Works with extra cheese on both.

I liked it.
Not sure why there’s cheese scraped off in the center but the pizza was delicious. Smelled incredible too.

Note though……if you like your cheese on your pizza make sure to get extra cheese.
Adding extra cheese for me just made it a normal amount of cheese that should be on a pizza.
It seems after 2020 almost all pizza joints just cut their cheese portion in half.

Friendly service on the phone.
Convenient and cozy location.
Plenty of free parking near by.

Yeah. I’ll be back.

Update:
Tried their Toscana Sausage. It was wonderful.
The crust is such perfection you can have it on its own.

The cheese compared to the previous time has been amended and is now splendidly distributed throughout this tasty pizza pie. Yummm!

We tried the Napoletana pizza and the cheese is amazing. They use genuine mozzarella cheese unlike other many pizza places that use cheap cheese. I will definitely go again.

I had tried their cheese pizza and meat lovers pizza. The high quality cheese makes the pizza tastes so much like pizza I ate in Italy.

This pizza place is beyond AMAZING!! Ordered the bbq chicken and buffalo chicken pizza, just perfect! The service and quality is like no other. We will 💯 order from here again & can't wait to try more selections!! Thank you to Elroy and team.
