This place has to be one of my favourite pizza places. I'm not going to lie and say it was the absolute best pizza I've had, but it was pretty good. The service side of things is where Dave & Mel's really shines through. I have had nothing but good experiences in that aspect, which is worth a lot to me. I ordered for pickup earlier tonight without even thinking about operating hours and set the pickup time for after their closing hours and didn't realize my mistake until after I picked it up. That being said, when I showed up 25 minutes after closing, they were still open, I was greeted with a smile and polite conversation and got my pizza without any issue. Had this been any of the major chains in the area I would not have been able to order and pick up the way I did (let alone be greeted with the same kindness and hospitality). Granted, I won't make this a habit, but it is nice to experience and gives the impression that the owners truly care.
I have a feeling that going forward this will be my go to pizza place.

Simply the best pizza in North Van, dare I say all of Vancouver itself. Do yourself a favour and grab one.
Ordered two pizzas from Dave and Mel’s. They were soooo yummy and fresh. The crust was very crispy. Got a Pesto sauce as well and wow it was amazing!!! Highly recommend this place for pizza.

Where do you even start with this place? Honestly the best pizza my partner and I have ever had (and we eat have eaten a lot of pizza!). Every single time we order it’s THAT good too. You expect a slip up / let down every once in a while but they deliver the good stuff every single time.
Normally food this food would come with some bad customer service but not here, they are both super sweet, friendly and lovely people who always have big smiles on their faces.
If you like good pizza, and want to support good people, eat here.
The only downside would be is that after you try this place other pizza places suck in comparison. 🤷♀️
