About Gringo - North Van

Gringo in North Van is a super fun spot with a great patio and cheap margaritas. The food has its own spin on it with plenty of variety, including vegetarian options like tofu or rice and beans. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, making for a fantastic experience. The spicy margaritas, queso, tacos, and Austin dilla are highlights on the menu. While there were some issues with dry meats in the tacos and watered-down bucket drinks, the staff handled the situation well by not charging for the affected drinks. With some adjustments needed, Gringo is still a promising new spot in Lower Lonsdale, worth returning to in the future.
