Currently, they only have a vegan pizza option. No veggie burgers or other items. Brussel sprouts good but overdressed. Updated from previous review on 2026-02-06
The food is really good and it's a good lunch spot for just a nice and refreshing pizza or if you would like a good sandwich too. The cheese strings are really nice and crispy on the outside and the pizza ovens are really cool to look at. It has some really good decorations with hockey shirts and two TVs. It has some good paintings, one that's custom-made of like a bike person with a backseat. The people are pretty nice and the server is pretty fast. To be honest, all good.

Pizza is great! Beer is good, sports on TV. No booths, all high tops. Lackluster service and atmosphere leaves a lot of room to grow.

Server was great. Gluten free pizza absolutely shockingly bad. Worst I have had in North Vancouver.

I just wanted to tell you about my experience tonight with your manager. Worst customer experience I have ever had in a restaurant. We ordered nachos, humous and two flights of beers for the two of us. The nachos were so overdone that we could not eat them. No one came to check on us once during our time there. I finally asked someone to bring us the bill and asked if he could split the bill between the two of us. He said he could not do that. At this point he should have seen we did not eat any of the nachos. Instead of asking how our food was, I said to him the nachos were terrible and over cooked and if he could do something about the cost. He replied ‘you should have told me before I printed the bill and it’s too late now’. I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. So I said we are not paying for them as we did not eat them. He was so rude and demeaning to me. I have never been treated like that as a customer and am so insulted. He went back and took the nachos off the bill and proceeded to tell me that I was rude! Are you kidding me!? I will never go back there again and will tell everyone of the experience I had there. Shameful service!

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful wait staff. Warm atmosphere. Sports on screen. Reasonable drink prices. Food quality is below average to poor for meals... very disappointing. A good place to go for drinks and snacks, but eat dinner at home before you go.

Great selection of local beers!
I don’t know why I continued to give Angry Otter a chance—after my last visit, I’m sorry to say that I think this is the worst restaurant in North Vancouver.
This place always operates with a skeleton crew and I imagine all of its failings can be attributed to that. Tonight, on a Saturday, there was one person working in the kitchen. Wait times for food are unreasonably long because of this, and you’ll often watch your food going cold in the pass-through as there aren’t enough servers/expos to run the food to tables once it’s ready. The food is typical brewery/gastropub/social house fare that is not done well.
The atmosphere is strange and the restaurant itself has no personality. It’s like the space can’t figure out what it wants to be and it just has really weird vibes all around.

Chantelle is my favourite server. I am so sad to see her go and wish her all the luck in her future. OK

Exceeded our expectations. Great pours, delish burgers, and service was very attentive. I think the pricing is reasonable too. Dog friendly patio is also a plus!
Had 1.5 hours to kill before our ferry and sat this place shut at 10:00 Wednesday, and we wanted beer and wings. Arrived at 8:50pm
And the guy said they were closing up. Pointed out the hours posted on the door online said 10pm. He just said “yeah…”

The service here is always great - happy and welcoming. The food is pretty good, especially for bar-type food - we enjoy the appetizers like deep fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and pizzas. Sometimes the beer we order doesn’t feel as cold as it should, but other than that it’s a great neighborhood bar!
