Angry Otter Tap and Forno

My friend and I decided to check this place out for the first time. When we arrived there, the door was locked on both sides and the hours on the door said they were closed at 11pm. Both online too said the same thing. We got there around 9pm ish. Inside there were people inside, one of the servers saw us outside the door and didn't even come to let us know they were closed early at all or to talk to us, it was very rude. Wasn't impressed.

Well that was unpleasant. Went here tonight only to find the doors locked at 9ish. Waitresses saw us trying to come in yet never even came to let us know they where closed. So much for trying this restaurant.

I had a veggie burger with vegan mayo and vegan cheese. When. I asked for the vegan menu, I was told that they had vegan cheese for any pizza or burger. All the salads have cheese on them. Burger was beyond meat, a bit too close to meat for my tastes! So not great for plant lovers.

They have their own burger challenge but eating the normal burger was its own challenge. the burgers were so massive and they also tasting amazing especially the BBQ burger with the chicken breast this place is definitely recommended.

I have to giggle a little with the name, Angry Otter. I couldn't wait to get home and bring pizza to my family. The boxes were a size that, in my opinion would feed 3 people with no problem. Upon opening the pizza box, I found my 16.00 pizza was a lot smaller in the box. The 22.00 pizza was even smaller? At least make your boxes smaller so it's not so evident that the pizzas are not what you'd expect! My pizza had little taste, and one had to find the cheese. I'm so disappointed. Our server was very patient as I couldn't decide on my selection, hense my stars given. Sorry, but you guys need to spruce up the menue and use that wonderful place shine!

Was informed that most pizzas could be made vegan. I ordered one that was vegan from the get go and my partner ordered one which required some substitution. Both pizzas were tasty but my partner found some bits of goats cheese in hers. We informed the server and were told that this had happened before and that some of the chefs didn't realise goats cheese is not vegan.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. Our friends recommended it, and now it’s our go-to spot to meet up.

I had the Big Kahuna but the BBQ sauce dominated the flavour. The beef patty must have been pre-made and from frozen it was quite dry. The pizzas look like the better option.

It’s a great spot to meet and mingle. Perfect for business meetings. The food is great and they have lots of tap beer options.

Very yummy burgers and fries. The waitress was very nice and prompt. We were able to sample a couple ciders before deciding what to order. Would eat here again.
