We decided to go here instead of JAM Cafe. All I can say, wow. I ordered their special "Denver Hash" and it was the best hash I've ever had. Crispy, cheesy, it was perfect. Would highly recommend this place.

I enjoyed the visit, and the food was amazing. I also enjoyed the latte art, first time I got one of those. Well priced for what I had, sadly I don't recall at this time.

Absolutely delicious and nice cozy vibe had the two egg breakfast with an extra egg I recommend the sausage over the bacon as the maple bacon is too sweet. Lovely staff and atmosphere drinks are a bit overpriced at 5.10 but nice for a treat everything is fresh and tasty even the whole wheat bread
First, let me start by saying that lift breakfast bakery has always been my go to place coming to the north shore, and I have recommend it to many othersThat has quickly all changed due to the terrible service from the manager at this location Young girl working on Tuesday July 18 who claimed she was the managerWe asked to be seated outside and were told that they were saving that table for for a possible group not a reserved group, but in case a group came. Keep in mind, there was only three other tables inside the restaurant occupied and no one else waiting to get into the restaurant We then left because it was a nice day and wanted to sit outside about 10 minutes later we’re walking by the restaurant and we see two people seated at the same table that they told us they were holding for a potential group when I asked the manager, why that happened she said she was in the right doing what she did, and would not apologize or offer any exclamation that made sense. She went as far as to say you can write a review, but I was right . To me this is terrible customer service and not only will we never come back again but shortly afterwards at my appointment in the North Shore, I mentioned it and several other people said they’ve had a bad experience and will also never come again and I’m looking forward to the restaurant jam opening upThe attitude was so awfulDora

The food is five stars but the wait to get a table is always such a gong show it drags the whole experience down to only being three stars overall. The wait time is always quoted as “10 to 15 minutes” but has been 30 to 40 min very visit I’ve been. And that would be tolerable if the service once you were seated was really good but it’s not. You wind up waiting just to give a drink order (sometimes while a table next to you that has just been seated moments earlier somehow gets their food order in within two minutes of being seated) and then you have to wait a long time to get the bill. And maybe it’s just our bad luck but the last three times I’ve been there, I’ve been seated at the patio bar in the direct sun (the patio awning only extends to cover the tables). Again, the food is excellent but by the end you’re feeling so frustrated with the service, and overheated and dripping with sweat from the sun, that the food is only a small part of the memory of the experience.

Re: discriminatory, ableist, eugenicist, and racist seating policyWent to Lift this morning, at opening, and it was drizzling. My partner and I wanted to sit on the patio, underneath the awning. Due to SARS2, it safer for me to eat outdoors. The staff refused to sit us in an outdoor covered booth because we didn't meet the minimum number of people and could only provide bar seating. The bar area was wet and uncovered. Mind you, there was nobody waiting in line for a table, and there were tables available inside, which meant they weren't at capacity. Despite me explaining my health issues, they refused.Shame on Fraser and Jane for making their staff enforce a policy that excludes disabled, immunocompromised, and chronically ill folks, who want to support your small business. But what do you expect from a couple of colonizers stealing the food of other cultures and charging customers a premium for it?It's no wonder you have to sell both your businesses. Good riddance.

Had the Benny and wow, was it good. We also had a cinnamon bun and pain au chocolat and everything was delicious. We sat outside on a cool morning and they gave us blankets. I can’t describe how delicious this food was.
Almost went to the cafe across the street but so pleased we did not. Outstanding service, food and prices. Plus good selection of drinks including tea. We had the French toast and tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. Would highly recommend a visit if in North Vancouver.
Delicious brunch as always! Their naming of the dishes is fun, too. Though I miss 1st street pancakes and Queen Anne omelette, revamped menu seems very good.Up hill French toast was light but tasty with buttery flavour and Bailey’s whip. Heritage hush was crispy and fluffy with juicy pastrami. I really liked fried kale and roasted pepper that came with it.NS is becoming sort of brunch hub lately but this one is definitely one of the best you can go! Walking distance from the quay.

Food was excellent. Size-able helpings, but not too large. You wouldn’t believe that many of their dishes are dairy-free because of how savory they are! Staff was slow, but it appeared they may have been under-staffed. Otherwise, incredibly kind and attentive.

Sooooo…good. Had the plant based heritage hash and am still full as I had to eat almost every delicious bite. Fabulous flavor!! Hubby went for the classic breakfast 101. Excellent service with lots of smiles. The heritage building has a great vibe. We will definitely be back!!!
