The team at Louis Gervais catering provided a wonderfully festive dinner for 35 at our home. From start to finish it was amazing! Initially I met with Chloe who helped me with menu choices and provided flexible options without blinking an eye. The team kept in touch with me prior to the event to ensure I had everything I needed. On the day of our party, Jennifer arrived at the appointed time to set up and provide me with excellent instructions to execute what was a brilliant dinner! Everyone loved the food and we had plenty for all!

Chef Louis followed up following the event to ensure that things had gone smoothly and arrange pick up of equipment.
I was very impressed with the whole team and highly recommend them for events of all sizes.

They're true professionals. Our whole experience working them was seamless and the food at the tasting, and event was incredible. I come here a lot and the service is usually great but today I spent $6 plus a tip on a small bocconcini salad and was served with a miniscule amount of food.. this isn't the first time this has happened (with the same lady serving the food) which has led me to write a review because it is simply not ok to charge your customers full price if you're only serving a third of the serving size, there is barely enough to cover the bottom of a small container.. the portion given is NOT worth the amount paid, so unacceptable

We had the absolute pleasure of having Louis Gervais cater our wedding.

The food and service was incredible. Everybody was raving about the canapes, entrées and deserts.

The team was incredibly dialed in, and Mr. Gervais himself was in the kitchen making sure everything was tip-top. They went over and above. We had a last minute issue, completely unrelated to food service, and the team was still able to step up and help us even though it had nothing to do with them!

Louis Gervais did the catering for our wedding and it was nothing short of spectacular. Both the quality of food and the level of service delivered were above expectations. As the groom, Chef Louis and his staff went out of their way to make the day extra special for myself and my wife.

I recently used Louis Gervais for catering for my wedding! My experience with them leading up to my wedding date was so fantastic, I also had catering from them for my wedding rehearsal dinner, which was incredible! Throughout the entire planning process, Sabine was an absolute pleasure to communicate with. She was so kind, professional, responsive, and really respectful about accommodating my budget. The buffet at our wedding was INCREDIBLE, all our guests loved it, many people went up 3 or 4 times! Throughout the evening, the staff at Louis Gervais were on top of everything from clearing plates, making sure my husband and I received dessert, and re-stocking the buffet with hot food. Chef Louis was also incredible, hilarious, and so helpful and willing to accommodate anything we wanted, from different side dishes to delicious sauces. I would not hesitate to recommend Louis Gervais for any of your catering needs!

Second time using Louis Gervais and it’s still excellent. Pleasure planning with them ahead of time and lovely and professional staff day of event. We were able to relax and enjoy the party with our guests. Delicious food! Thank you for making my dad’s 90th birthday extra special.

The coffee and bakery here were so-so for my taste, nothing too impressive but not bad either. I had some work in the area and checked it out randomly. It's not a place I would return to.

Lemon bar is quite delicious, not too sweet. Chai Latte is fragrant and has a very pleasant mild spicy taste.

Updating this for February 2024: We host a 3 hour reception in Vancouver for 150 senior business and government leaders every 2 years, and after our first experience with Louis Gervais in 2022, we naturally went back for a second helping this past Valentine's Day. And again - absolutely thrilled with the results! We definitely made it hard on the team - bumping our guest list by 10% just over 24 hours ahead of the event - and screwing up the rentals. They fixed all my errors - including dispatching one of the servers to race across town in rush hour to get something the rental company had missed off our list (next time I'm letting LG handle the rentals!!) The food drew numerous compliments from our guests, the servers were incredibly professional and tireless, the bar-tenders were both warm and efficient, and "chef-de-mission" Sabine again anticipated every need - and met it! Part of what really worked was the teamwork - the staff synched incredibly well, and delivered like a well-oiled machine - all of them smiling constantly. Our guests were enjoying themselves so much they stayed a full hour after the scheduled ending and refused to leave until all the food was gone, with some packing napkins full of savory treats for later. That says it all! Truly - not a single thing I could suggest as an improvement! 2022 review: We went looking for a catering firm very last minute in late March 2022, and as firms were struggling to find their feet post Covid. We were hosting 150 senior executives and government officials from across Canada. Sabine from Louis Gervais quickly provided the best proposal we got, based on a combination of price, staffing, menu options and just plain responding to our needs (lots of vegan / vegetarian and pescatarian options) - so after comparing 5 or 6 others, some literally almost twice as expensive with less attention to our needs, we took it - and less than a week later, we were VERY happy with the results. The food - the service - the bar - all perfect. In fact the wine representative was so impressed with one of the bartenders, she offered her a job at Summerhill Pyramid! and all the wait and chef staff, led by Sabine in person, were exceptional. Billing was as expected - everything was handled end to end - and overall, we were just really pleased with the outcome! Thanks Sabine!

Cannot say enough good things about Louis Gervais!I worked with them to arrange catered lunches over two days for a staff conference at our workplace, and they met and exceeded our expectations. Their customer service and quality of food are exceptional!
