It was really good, sadly it was very pricey and we won't be able to come as often to this as we do to other restaurants

I really enjoyed the food and I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

I ordered takeout for $25. The presentation was nice, but I was surprised by how little food I got for the price—especially compared to spots on Commercial Drive.

I thought maybe the flavor would make up for it, but it just wasn’t for me.
The taste, price, and overall experience didn’t quite match up.
But as they say, flavor is personal—this one just didn’t hit the mark for me.

We don't order from anywhere else. Sushi is fresh, yummy and at reasonable price! Try their volcano!

The food here is absolutely amazing and has great service! 10/10 would come back.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I was inspired to after today’s experience. Service was BAD...

Came in with a couple of friends, took forever to get our order in (and it wasn’t even busy at that point).

Server was confused when my fiancè ordered. First quite abruptly asking “where is that on the menu?” which threw us all off. My fiancè kept saying what he wanted, pointing at the item, and the server kept asking about another item, different from what he was ordering.

Server came with hot miso soup that was spilled on the table and on my friend.

Server didn’t bring a beer that was ordered. Completely forgot about it. I had to remind them to take it off the bill at the end.

Server brought out our order with a wrong item.

Finally, when I got up to pay, server didn’t even remember which table I was at in this very small restaurant.

I don’t know if she was extremely new or what… but… really bad service. Food was okay at best. Price was around $80 for four people.

I’ll never come back here, my friends will never come back here, and I hope after reading this you will not go here.

While the food was acceptable, the overall dining experience left much to be desired.

Throughout the meal, staff repeatedly interrupted—frequently attempting to clear plates while I was still engaged in conversation. At one point, the bill was brought to the table without being requested, again mid-conversation. These interruptions occurred multiple times and created a rushed and uncomfortable atmosphere. It was disappointing to be unable to properly enjoy the dinner, and I do not intend to return.

Bento box was a big portion. I didn’t see that one coming. Overall experience with food was nice.

Ordered takeout. The food was awful. We discarded half. The rolls were giant in diameter and just kind of gross. The spicy sauce on top was sugary and cloying.

Oh, and if you order online you end up getting spammed. Nice touch.

My friend and I sometimes go to Mr. Sushi for lunch, the flavors are great, the quality is great, the prices are reasonable, I recommend you try it at least once.

Fav sushi place, I order here regularly. They charged me an ‘order adjustment’ fee tonight, based on order instructions, and didn’t adjust the order. So they charged me extra for absolutely nothing. Not so great.
