“Incredible service. She was so friendly and a great conversationalist! The food: where do I even begin? The pasta was fantastic, some of the best I’ve had. The rice was beautiful and aromatic and crispy on top. And the kebabs? I believe I had the best lamb kebab of my life here. So flavorful and tender, it literally burst in my mouth. Overall, fantastic restaurant. Really wish I lived in Vancouver so I could be a regular here!“

“We got Vaziry and Shandiz Shishlik Lambshanks with house Doogh drink. Everything was mind blowing. The environment and interior design were lovely, the staff were friendly and super helpful. The quantity of the portions were great, 2 meals were enough for 3 people.

“We went to Alibaba a few days ago and were honestly blown away by how delicious the liver and heart skewers were. It tasted just like the real thing back home in Iran, rich, flavorful and perfectly grilled. I’ve tried a few other places, including one we visited before based on a recommendation from Amir, the admin of the Persian Vancouver page, who had called Alibaba dirty and even made some awful claims about the owner. That other spot (Hidra) turned out to be a huge disappointment. In my opinion, if you’re looking for authentic Iranian-style liver and heart in Vancouver, Alibaba is the only place that truly delivers. Don’t let rumors or negativity fool you, taste speaks for itself.“

“Amazing Persian restaurant! Huge portions and authentic flavors. The Soltani kabob was the best koobideh and barg I’ve had in Canada. Chicken kabob was super tender and flavorful. Loved the mirza ghasemi with smoked eggplant and barbari bread. Staff were super nice and attentive. Highly recommend!“

“My wife and I had a 4-day travel to Vancouver and wish we could have more chance to visit Hidra Sandwich. We have tried Bandari, Hidra Fries, Jigar and Zaban Sandwich. The food quality, freshness and service were over and beyond. Fresh bread hit me hard. It’s a solid 5 to me!

“Went to Haida Sandwich in North Van to try out their Haida hot, Haida Special and Turkey breast sandwich. All of them were delicious especially the cold cut sandwiches. Way bigger than Subway and comes with mini fries. This place is always busy, restaurant is clean. The only thing I didn't like is the airport style receipt checks they do on you. 😂“
