I asked for easy / light sauce for the donburi and that’s perfect for me!!
It’s nice and crunchy and flavourful!!
Has avocado, tofu, prawn, a spring roll, gyoza, yam omg it’s loaded!!!

Pine Sushi Square is such a great spot! I had the Dynamite Roll and it was amazing — crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. The shrimp tempura was perfectly done and the portions were generous, especially the fish on other rolls like the Alaska. Super friendly staff and a chill vibe too. Definitely coming back!

I stopped by Pine Sushi Square at Capilano Mall and honestly, the food was way better than I expected. The Crazy Boy Roll was super crispy on the outside and packed with flavor, and the Alaska Roll tasted really fresh with just the right amount of salmon.

The staff were really friendly and checked in a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. Even though it’s in the mall, the spot feels cozy and relaxed, not rushed at all.

Prices are fair for the quality, and the rolls came out fast and fresh. I’ll definitely be back — it’s a solid go-to for sushi in North Vancouver.

I had such an amazing experience here! I ordered the avocado combo and the chicken donburi, and both were fantastic. The avocado was just a touch brown, but it didn’t affect the flavor at all—it was still creamy and delicious.

What really stood out to me was the sushi itself. So many places drown their rolls in sesame seeds, but here it was perfectly balanced. You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients without anything being overpowering. The chicken donburi was also comforting and flavorful, a perfect balance of savory and satisfying.

Overall, the food, presentation, and attention to detail made this spot an easy favorite for me. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re craving sushi that’s done right!

Best local sushi place by a mile! Yes! In a food court!!!! Great food. Friendly people. We grab takeout every time we are in the area. Just wish it was open later in the evening.
