I was so impressed at the quality of the sushi. I thought beforehand that “how good can mall food court sushi be?” Boy, was I wrong to assume it could not be as good as it was. In fact, due to a misunderstanding in my part, where I ordered an extra miso soup, on top of the meal which included it, the hostess apologized for not letting me know and brought me a small sushi treat on the house.The sushi chef was awesome as well and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, so I will be returning.

There are very few food court sushi restaurants that I’d recommend, but this is a worthy contender. Tucked away in Capilano Mall, there’s a wide range of roll and cooked options, and the service comes with a smile. Only downside is that orders can take 10+ minutes to prepare, so don’t expect fast food.

So disappointed - honestly, I love supporting small businesses but I have to draw the line at the triple combo of terrible service (the lady taking your order clearly hates her life and impossible to expect a smile from), terrible quality of food (you can tell their ingredients are low quality and they pinch pennies) coupled with the expectation of a tip at a food court. This can be a last resort if you will die without sushi but there are many other options nearby. Save your stomach!

This is literally the best sushi i have ever tried. I have not been to vancouver in the last 4.5 years, and I still cant forget spicy salmon roll and california roll from pine sushi. I would eat there at least once a week back in the day, the service was always perfect as well !!!

Yummy with fast, friendly service. Eat with water nearby though, the rice is sticky! I really wanted to try the sashimi but they don't offer it in small portions like other restaurants I've been to. But hey, big portions isn't something to complain about
