I ordered a meat, cheese, and antipasti charcuterie (medium size) for my baby shower and it was incredible! Everything on the board was high quality. I couldn’t have built this myself :)

My guests loved it and kept asking where it came from. Highly recommended 👌

Before I retired, I got Puccini's to cater lunches for me when I did presentations at Architectural or Interior Design firms. I'd provide the company with their menu so the staff could give me their sandwich choices beforehand, then serve the sandwiches & a charcuterie platter at the beginning of my presentation. Everyone raved about the food & would ask if I was serving the same when I did my next presentation. It's run by Lino & Maria (brother & sister), & I developed a real fondness for both of them. They are everything you want in a deli of this class - accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, & focused on service. The staff has always been very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable, even though they are usually extremely busy. And they're busy because their products are first rate. It's my favourite place to get lunch on the North Shore, as well as classic Italian fare and cheeses to take home.
It's a charming store to poke around in & full of the best that Italy has to offer.

I don’t usually leave reviews, and the only reason I am now is that I was looking forward to having a nice deli sandwich.

The female worker who made my sandwiches was fantastic. She gets a 5 start.

The male ( I guess owner) was super friendly and nice. He also gets a 5 star.

The other female( seems to be owner as well) gets ZERO star. She was the last person I dealt with before leaving the place and made me never want to go back again.
Attitude as if I owed her something.
When I have her the cold shoulder that I don’t care for her attitude, she became rude.
If I had not paid earlier( the guy served me) I would throw the sandwiches in her face and walked out.
She needs an attitude check big time or just keep her in the back so she doesn’t scare customers away.

Great service. Great sandwiches. Not quick, but there great products to check out while you are waiting. So good.

High quality healthy ingredient deli sandwiches! Just tried the Casanova on Ciabatta bread! Fresh Arugula, prosciutto, asiago, fig spread!! Try the Italian Lurisia Sparkling Blood Orange from the fridge! I had mine on the patio to people watch and admire the eagles soaring! What a beautifully interesting neighborhood - loved seeing all the fresh produce at the market next door! Can’t wait for my next visit!

I moved to North Vancouver around 5 years ago, and was fortunate to come across this gem. Ever since, I’ve found myself making excuses to go to Lonsdale just so I can stop by. Their selection is amazing, but it is their truly exceptional customer service that keeps me coming back. I cannot recommend this place strongly enough.

The female owner/manager seems bossy and somewhat disingenuous, she kind of has her own way of doing things and the customer needs to conform. All the other employees are great though.

the chicken and pesto sandwich was good but overpriced for the size and the vibes of this place were lowkey throwing me off

The staff were abrupt and unfriendly… we wanted a panini, but we’re not allowed to have a filling of our choice, we had to choose from a menu, which we did… what arrived was 4 types of Italian meat piled on top of each other and then toasted … it wasn’t an option… that cooked the cold meat which spoiled the whole sandwich … sacrilege… overall experience was 1 star.. not going
Back….

Puccini's Deli is an absolute gem! The customer service here is truly out of this world—Lino has built a team that is simply unparalleled in this day and age. It’s rare to find a place where the staff genuinely care so much, but at Puccini’s, that level of service is the norm.

I refuse to buy cheese anywhere else if I can help it—not just because of the incredible quality, but because of the outstanding service that comes with it. And the sandwiches? Absolutely next level. Every bite is perfection!

I feel so lucky to live nearby and have such an amazing establishment right at my fingertips. I don’t often leave reviews, but when I do, it’s because a place has truly wowed me—again and again. Puccini’s Deli is one of those rare finds. Highly, highly recommended!

Thank you so much guys! See you again soon!

Usually Puccini’s is a delight to visit because the staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. However, the female manager they have working there completely changes the atmosphere. She’s abrupt with customers and is always telling off her staff in front of them. Word to the wise, if you want to correct your staff do it quietly, no one enjoys hearing you belittle them. To top it off she ruins the lattes by burning the milk. I’m afraid she’ll also ruin puccinis.

As a locally owned business, I am very disappointed with the service offered by this establishment. While I don't expect exceptional service, I do expect staff to be polite, smiling, patient, and not irritated. I understand the challenges of serving the population around Lonsdale and how frustrating it can be, but for customers who are respectful, nice, and not demanding, reciprocity is important. People's loyalty is earned through patience, kindness, and warmth.
The lady who served us today provided an incredibly poor experience, both when I spoke to her on the phone and when I visited in person. She was snappy, rude, and disrespectful. The server was a white lady, and I noticed that she did not behave this way towards other Caucasian/white customers, but she did towards customers of color like myself. While I am not explicitly implying racism, her behavior certainly suggests a concerning pattern.
If she is burned out, I suggest she refrain from serving customers. This kind of behavior, especially if it appears to be discriminatory, could lead to the decline of this otherwise wonderful deli.
