The manager or owner, not sure, she was completely rude, not only to me but her employees. A wonderful girl was helping me and the owner decides she needs to take my order. She did not listen to what I needed for my party, she was dismissive, a bully and obviously grew up with no manners. When I had previously shopped in Pucini’s this woman was never out front and she should never be the person serving customers now. Because of her, I will not be returning,

Shop had a good selection of goods. We had a couple of paninis, which were delicious.
The staff appeared to be a bit hectic and greeted us without even turning around, but once engaged were friendly and helpful.

I felt quite judged and they treated me very poorly, talking to me like I was a child or they thought I was intoxicated ( I am First Nations and don't drink or use illegal drugs) a d seemed wary of me and the sandwiches I got were not very good At All, if I cud give- ⭐️ it would, Terrible service and Terrible food
Super dope, come here get stuff, enjoy your life 🤌
If you speak italian thats probably a thing here too, I was too lazy to hang out and investigate, or learn to speak italian.

Maria was so rude and completely disrespectful to me. I would not recommend going to Puccini’s ever. So terrible to their employees and Maria is so rude to her paying customers.

I arrived at 526pm to find the store closed. Door locked and lights off. I saw 2 staff members inside. I knocked. I knocked again. The younger female at the counter smiled and carried on doing what she was doing. I knocked harder. The other lady came to the door, stone faced. She opened the door and said “yes?” I asked her if they’d already closed. She answered “yeah we’re closed. We close at 530pm and it says so on google even though the door says we close at 7pm”. She was curt and cold. As I checked my phone for the time I replied “well it’s 526pm and you’re already closed”. She replied “ well we need to be closed by 530pm. We can’t be slicing deli meats right up until 530pm. What do you want? The slicer is off so you can’t have deli meats”. I told her I needed one jar of something. She replied with silence as she opened the door to let me in. I grabbed what I needed and was out before their actual 530pm closing time.
I cannot believe how rude, cold, and hostile she was. She should not ever be customer-facing. When I looked back at past reviews, virtually every negative review is because of a rude interaction with a female staff member. The fact that Puccini’s keeps that woman out in the store to interact with customers when a pattern of rude and disrespectful treatment is well documented, is beyond me. Clearly Puccini’s doesn’t care about how their customers are treated. If they did, she wouldn’t be in the front of the store. This goes back YEARS.
Needless to say, I will not be back.

This is a amazing store. I wish they existed years ago when I was growing up on the north shore, because I would've thrown out my mother's sandwiches and work part time here and eat all their sandwiches lol. The selection of meats and cheese is insane!
Check out all their specialty ingredients on the endless shelfs as well. Incredible and if I may add, the most knowledgeable staff I've ever met in a deli store. If your a foodie person your gonna want to visit this store. They're also featured in a book as well. My favorite so far? The salami's man good grief.
Like I said, if your eyes are closed when you’re eating you know there's something special happening. Puccini’s is a fantastic North Vancouver staple. The community is very lucky.
They also do catering and special events too!

I really love the foods this place has, but you can be standing at the counter for 15 minutes waiting for someone to ring you up. And no lineup. I think this is the only business I know of that does this.

Puccini’s is an absolute gem!!!
I recently needed pizza dough for a girls’ weekend but couldn’t make it to the store before closing. To my surprise, the owner personally offered to deliver four balls of dough to my home — and even added an extra one, just in case. He didn’t charge me a cent, was genuinely happy to help, and wished me all the best for the weekend.
It felt like customer service from another era: thoughtful, generous, and truly selfless. A rare kind of kindness that speaks volumes about the heart behind this business.
And to top it off, the dough was delicious! It made our pizza-making so much quicker and easier — which meant less time in the kitchen and more time outside enjoying the beautiful weather together.
We are all so grateful for their kindness. Puccini’s has a lifelong customer in me — and in the six girlfriends who shared that special weekend with me.

I almost didn’t come here due to the reviews about guest service. I am SO glad I didn’t listen! We’ve been here three times during our week-long trip from the U.S. and we have received nothing but friendly smiles and wonderfully accommodating service. Sandwiches are fantastic and the staff took time to help me pick out some olive oil.
