The crew are very friendly and helpful, and their matcha ice cream is to die for you would never regret buying one.

We came quite a few times. The restaurant is disappointingly understaffed, you have to wait so long at the entry until a staff gets to you and only to be told that the empty tables you see are actually reserved, and you have to wait longer. After getting in, the food takes really long time to get to you. The food is admittedly good, but very sad that customer time is not being valued here.

Great experience at Sansho! Very friendly and accommodating server. Appreciated having a separate full gluten free menu, so many options. Everything was great!

This sushi spot is seriously legit.
The rice is perfectly seasoned, and the fish is incredibly fresh—you can tell the quality right from the first bite. The sashimi, in particular, had no fishy taste at all and was super smooth and tender.

The rolls aren’t overly complicated, which I liked—they really focus on bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Everything felt well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared.
The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal.

If you’re into sushi, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This was the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to in North Vancouver.
The Dragon Roll and the salmon nigiri were especially amazing.
If you ever find yourself in North Vancouver, you should definitely check it out!

Fair food but terrible service!

Visited on 16/April lunch hour, ordered Hamachi sashimi and pickled daikon roll, 1st issue, I said ‘1 pickled daikon roll’, the server keep asking which one you want.

I repeated pickled daikon roll and point to this optionon the menu. Then the server said ‘the name is Oshinko’. Hey lady, if you not accept customer use English to place order, then you should remove the wording ‘pickled daikon’ and ‘roll’ from the menu!

2nd issue, I repeated 2 times NO WASABI, but then still wasabi on both dish! Interesting restaurant to ignore customer request!

3rd issue, except the moment of ordering and payment. That busy lady didnt even say a word when she put down the soy sauce, sashimi and roll, 3 times she appear in front of me, but not saying a word! Interesting

You should buy bagel and meat from the next store, but do not step in this restaurant unless maybe you can speak Japanese or Korean🤷🏻‍♀️

I love this place. The food is excellent. Prices are ver fair. Friendly service. It can be a little noisy when it's crowded and it does get crowded because it's so good.
