Service was on point. Just the right amount of attention. Ambiance was fine. The space itself is small but nice. The only let down was the food, which was all presented very well and tasted fine, but far from exceptional. At this price point, fine is not good enough. We had the tuna tartare, and burrata for appies. For mains, the sea bass and the rib eye with lobster risotto (special), for desert the tiramisu cannoli.
We have the prawn salad and calamari to start, both were great, good portions as well. For mains we had the lamb and the tenderloin, both were excellent, but the tenderloin with the bone marrow sauce stole the show... its was delicious! Paired it with a nice super Tuscan for a great meal. We will be back for sure.
Excellent night. The food was delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Non rushed. I have a food allergy, made the restaurant aware of it beforehand and the chef and server had discussed it and what my options were before I sat down. Much appreciated! We will definitely be back soon.
