The only downside was the price was a bit high for the smaller portions. It might just be a Van City thing as I have been all over North America and most portions are larger and less expensive.
That said, the brisket rivals that in some of the best Texas smokehouses and I would recommend it to anyone.

They provided take away packs of the left over food. It was great!!!.

I had a juicy, flavourful burger, but realized too late that prefer mine more well done, totally my fault for not mentioning it, the server was incredibly kind and brought me a freshly made burger and hot fries without hesitation. They even offered me a complimentary beer,which was such a thoughtful gesture. It was my first time here, and I’m honestly blown away by the food. The vibe and the warm hospitality.so glad to be your neighbour. I’ll definitely be back so soon to try more!

My wife and I were craving for some bbq food and tried this venue. We both took the Two Meat Combo but with different things so we could essentially sample 4 different meats and 4 different sides.
I would recommend the brisket and ribs as meat and the potato salad and fries as sides, as well as corn bread.
All in all the food was good, nice portion, good service and good atmosphere.
However, the meat wasn’t super warm and tasted a bit like it was prepared hours ago and just reheated. They were quick with serving, but I’m not sure I’d come back to pay $40 for reheated food.
