I was scrambling to find a place that could accommodate my wedding party last Friday (July 4th)—all 24 of us, including kids and a baby! For context, I had reached out to the manager, Matt, a couple of days prior, and he was incredibly accommodating and responsive over email.

Without getting into too much detail, I had to make several additions and adjustments to the reservation, and Matt couldn’t have been more helpful throughout.

On the day of the event, some of us arrived a bit earlier than our reservation time, but we were still welcomed and seated. The servers worked hard to wrangle our group and take orders as efficiently as possible. In my experience, all the staff were courteous and professional. Our server in particular was especially friendly and responsive. The food was solid—though I did miss the hot wings they used to serve a few years back!

All that to say, I just wanted to give my heartfelt thanks to Matt and his team for going above and beyond to accommodate our large group on such short notice. You made it a truly special night, and we’re very grateful.

Absolutely love this spot. It's become a go to for me whether I'm out with friends for drinks or grabbing dinner with family. The cocktail list is great and there's a nice selection of wine to choose from. The burger is the go to item so definitely recommend. Be sure to check out their trivia night!

Wedding party of 24 visited this evening
After an hour of waiting we had to go and find a waitress that was willing to take the party's orders.
As we waited for our food we watched and overheard the other 2 waitresses make comments about how rude and impatient the party was. I was absolutely disgusted by the customer service this evening.

Very great bar, open, friendly, and very cost effective. We ate here on the 06/02/25. I cant recommend the animal burger enough complaints to the chef that was amazing. Olivia served us and took great care of the table on the terrace.

Both my bf and I had the best time here for a Canada Day lunch today! What a secret gem :) we had the animal burger and the gull burger plus fish and chips and poutine! Best burger I’ve ever had, and the fish and chips was so perfectly battered, light and very crispy, with fresh fish. I feel bad I didn’t get the servers name, but he took care of us very well! The menu rotates seasonally, with pub style options with thoughtful ingredients. The drinks menu offers a good mix of local pours and playful cocktails.

Staff are friendly and know the menu well. Service is attentive and the vibe feels equally good for a casual date night or a group catch up. It’s family friendly during the day but can get louder and more energetic in the evenings, especially on weekends.
