Bartie Winery has really good wines and a generous pour… often more than you expect! The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, which makes the tasting enjoyable. One thing to note: they do charge more for a patio tasting than inside, which feels a bit unfair. That aside, the wines themselves are worth trying and the overall experience is still enjoyable.
The wine was just okay, good price point if you’re on a budget, but the flavour and complexity is lacking. Between the 3 of us we didn’t like any of the 5 wines we had tasted, sadly. We did enjoy the cheese pairing, however. The cheeses were really tasty.
There wasn't a wine we didn't like, or at least appreciate. We recommend enjoying with the optional cheese pairings - so delightful! Giselle was lovely and helpful (as were all staff). What a delightful experience!
