Black Sage Bistro serves exceptional dishes, including the highly-recommended Melissa's pizza, featuring homemade sauce and dough. The casual outdoor dining area offers tables and private gazebos, perfect for enjoying a meal with a bottle of wine from the winery. Guests have enjoyed the delicious wood-fired pizza, which serves 2-3 people, and the cold frosé is a refreshing choice in hot weather. The "Smash burger" is also a highlight, and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. The gazebo seating, equipped with ceiling fans and water misters, provides comfort during warmer days. Many have praised the cheesy pizzas and expressed interest in trying the sandwiches or the duck confit pizza, which has become a favorite for some. The outdoor patio is cute, and the wine shop/tasting room is large and bright, making it an excellent spot for an unrushed meal in the heart of wine country.
