Our experience was bad upon arrival- we were not greeted very quickly despite an empty restaurant. (We should have left then). The restaurant was freezing, we were the first and only table for at least half an hour and didn’t get our drinks for that time. It took at least 1 hour to receive our food which was mediocre at best. There was only 4 other tables upon finishing our meal and it took at least 25 minutes to get our bill and leave.

Large portions .Spaghetti looked like dog food from a can. The lasagna smelled so strongly of cinnamon you would have thought they brought you an apple pie. I asked if it had cinnamon and her response was “ yes , why are you allergic?”. It was an extremely overpowering flavour not mentioned on the menu. Would not be come back.

Salmon was a little dry. Lemon potato and the rice were flavourful. Veggies (carrots) were not good at all ... rubbery.
My husband had the lasagna. Not much flavour and no other real ingredients other than the meat. He also ordered the garlic bread .... no garlic at all.
The rolls that came before supper with the vinegar/oil for dipping were very good.

A warm and inviting Greek/Italian restaurant, We were made to feel right at home. Come hungry as the portions are very generous. The Spanakopita and Beef Souvlaki were some of the best I have ever had. The Tiramisu makes a nice light dessert. We will definitely visit again.

Based on the decent reviews, we were excited to try out this restaurant. First words out of waitress’s mouth was her telling us she was pulled away from her own dinner. (Should we feel guilty for that?) We asked to order wine. Waitress said because of last years fires, a lot of wine is not available. She didn’t come back to take wine order for 10 min and we were already eating meal. Then said none of wine by glass was in stock. We believe they just didn’t bother to stock their wine since we can easily buy the 3 wines they normally sell by glass in the Liquer store or save on foods. After we said we only wanted to order 3 glasses and not the bottle, she relented and sold us 3 glasses. She said it was no problem to substitute the ribs and spaghetti for Greek ribs (one out of 2 person’s ribs were very dry) and fettuccini (which was very gummy and overcooked )we were charged $4 but never told that there would be an up charge. We asked for a little extra olive oil to go with our starter bread but it never came until we asked someone else to bring some. We were asked if we wanted a box to take home any food while we were only halfway through dinner. Huh?! My dinner of Moussaka was good but the rest made it an unpleasant dining experience. We wont be back.

We ordered several dishes thru take out and Everything was delicious EXCEPT the meatballs didn't appear or taste like meat. They were pale in colour and had no meat flavor at all. What the heck were they??? Again, EVERYTHING ELSE was great! Service, prices, food ALL GOOD!!!

The lamb souvlaki was melt in your mouth, the roast potatoes nice and lemony. Food and wine are reasonably priced. The service was attentive. The building inside and out is dated, but I go for the food. Family friendly
