My boyfriend’s family and I had such a wonderful experience here. We went for a tasting, as we found out they have a special selection of wines, specifically fortified wines.

John was extremely knowledgeable and had such a great sense of humor. He had us laughing and really enjoying our time there. We were so impressed with the wide selection of dessert wines. Every single one was delicious, and had unique properties, and reflected high standards for their production process.

We won’t share how many we purchased ;) They definitely have our business!
It was so nice to sit on the bench outside, take in the view, and enjoy the sounds of the water.

Thank you John! We will be back!

My husband and I had the most fun today having a wine tasting with the owner. She is the most delightful and hilarious woman. The wines are all spectacular. There was not one we didn’t like, which is not our ordinary experience at wineries. We usually only like a few, but we had to buy every single one we tasted. This is such a beautiful place too. The drive thru the vineyard is gorgeous a the moment you step of your car the sent of the flower gardens is beautiful. I really can’t say enough. Definitely make a stop here. It’s definitely worth it.

My favorite winery with great tasting fruit and grape wines and entertaining employees.

We went on a wine tour out of Osoyoos. Our wonderful tour guide took us to four wineries. The last of which was Silver Sage. He warned us when we arrived that they were just cleaning up so we right away felt pressured like they might want to get out of there. Understandable. The hostess was very unwelcoming (the portion sizes we're so tiny, not that that really mattered). My wife commented that she really liked this particular one and asked if she could just give me it little splash more and she rolled her eyes. At that point a lady who seemed to be in charge walked up and told us we were being too loud and we should listen and talk less. Nine adults with a lot of class and we were reprimanded like we were in elementary school. I walked out at that point. How insulting. We bought wine at every other winery we went to.

TL;DR: Unique and fruit focused wines, Generous tastings, Horrible Service/Experience

Unique Winery that focuses on the grape and other fruits, unlike any other winery in the Okanagan! It's a must try simply for the wine itself but the tasing experience itself was sorely lacking.

I recently visited Silver Sage winery after rave reviews from friends and family but have come out of my visit with mixed feelings. Firstly, the wine is great and generously poured! The winery offers a tasting of everything that is available to purchase other than 1 or 2 vintages with limited stock and the wines are very fruit forward, sweet, and no sulphite is used in any of thier wines.

In terms of service, it was a frustrating experience. Our server essentially ran through a script, word for word, of every euphemism, corny joke, or pun they could squeeze in about the wines. It felt like we were interacting with a montonous robot and I barely caught half of what our serve was saying because it was all muttered as fast as possible. My partner who had visited this winery over 2 years ago said he heard the exact same script repeated back then as we had heard that day.

I genuinely wanted to learn more about the winery, given how unique thier products were but our server was anciticpating us putting our glasses down as fast as possible so they could get through the tasting, even though there was no one else waiting, and was not impressed by our questions or enthusiasm. I would suggest Silver Sage either revise the amount of wines they offer in thier tastings, so staff aren't burnt out from serving 12+ wines to each party (for free!), or not require thier staff to memorize scripts word for word.

Silver Sage Winery is a beautiful stop with stunning flowers and well-kept grounds. The wine tasting was led by a friendly and knowledgeable staff member who made the experience enjoyable. The wines lean toward the sweeter side—ideal if that matches your taste.

A group of snow birds came out to see the amazing Christmas decorations inside and out on Sunday. We all truly enjoyed our experience. Of course we bought wine! The presentation was so informative and the humour that goes along with the commentary is awesome. Such a gem!! We will be back. Thank you so much!!

We bought bottles of the sunset wine this past summer, gave a bottle away as a gift as we all love the sunset except these bottles didn’t even come close to the past bottles we had. Contacted the winery and was told they used white raspberries and it didn’t change the taste. It’s not even close to what we’ve had before, it tasted jammy and like the bottle had turned, or chemicals and spit it out after first sip, it was awful. Could have been a bad batch. Winery said we can bring the bottles back for exchange or refund. But we live 3.5 hours away, it would cost more in gas. lol
