Staff were great! Timing of courses were perfect. Not quick and not sitting there waiting. The tartare and the pork belly was epic. They do a great job up there. Top notch! Cocktails are also fantastic.
We love it here. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The food is great and they have lots of gluten free options.

Wow! This was our 5th time at Longshots but the first of the 25/26 season and they have upped their game with the food!! We have always enjoyed Longshots for the novelty of getting dressed up without leaving the hill, the delicious cocktails, the atmosphere and great service, but this time round the food was the highlight. Highly recommend if you're on the fence about going this season, make sure you book in! As always Ariel and Kevin make you feel very welcome and go the extra mile to make a special occasion even more enjoyable!
Cannot go wrong here. Lovely and exiting atmosphere. Amazing service and staff.

Not to be missed as there is a small window to enjoy this remarkable restaurant at the base of Apex Mountain Ski Resort. Attention to detail is unparalleled - cocktails divine, cuisine is top notch, and the service doesn't get any better.
Ordered teriyaki bowl and penang chicken. The portion was decent and the service was friendly. The vibes are chill. The food was tasty. It’s a convenient stop once you are done with winter sports at Apex Mountain Resort.

What an absolutely amazing experience! A true true true true true perfect wonderful evening! I highly recommend it at least once in the season!
Terrible experience at this Saloon, will not be back. We arrived an hour and a half before closing and were told that the kitchen was closed early. The restaurant provided us with a late night menu however the orders were rung in wrong and we were not provided with the correct orders or received any attempt at a resolution. Staff was rude and the lights were shut off half an hour before closing as well as the music. The manager then came over and seemed irritated by our presence and treated us like we were a burden.

First time here!
We were about to leave after a disappointing greeting from a lady who obviously wasn't happy about hosting those entering the restaurant. Still, we tried to understand and ended up being served by a fab lady, Meg, who made our experience memorable!
She was sooooo good with my toddler and made her dining experience exceptional. She even asked about her fav colour and gifted her a little bracelet 🥹
The food was nicely presented and was good!
We loved the vibe and unique ski resort style decorations!
Was a busy restaurant which indicated popularity!
We’ll be back! ☺️

Ordered Caesar’s, nacho’s, poutine, and pulled pork Mac and cheese
Food was cold, the Caesar was missing ingredients listed on the menu and we had to send back the poutine because it was cold. The portion of poutine was $18, and when it arrived, I was so very surprised at the size, it was tiny!
The nachos were tired with very few toppings, as if sat under the light too long, as was the Mac and cheese! We did not even eat it!
Service was great!
It was a very disappointing visit and not enjoyable
Hard to believe it’s run by the same people as shaughnessy’s cove

Longshots presented by Gunbarrel: ***Must Visit*** Perched among the snow blanketed pines and dreamy wintry landscape is an alpine culinary retreat we recently fell in love with- Longshots Steakhouse. A new vision brought to life of Shaughnessy's Cove, Gunbarrel Saloon and former Palmer Steakhouse’s owner Jesse Ritchie whom wanted to offer an artful gastronomic theatre to the stunning backdrop of Apex Mountain Resort. It’s a clever melange of swanky cosmopolitan steakhouse, tasteful French bistro and trendy speak-easy cocktail bar all set in a mountain chalet. Stirring, shaking and inventing is friendly Mixologist Daylen Wolaniuk who meticulously crafts a perfect Apres-Ski menu bringing balance and soothing replenishment to your glass. He takes much pride as he awaits for first approving sip. Hosting is beloved local & former Fairmont Chef de Service Kevin whom delivers charm and attention to your tableside with luxurious ease. A true gem in the hospitality industry- he adores guests being acquainted with best wines and fun banter with Chef’s delicious creations. In kitchen, Chef Jonathan Schaller (St. Lawrence, mentored with Chef JC Poirier) maestros a lovely blend of French training and Canadiana with his powder season delights. Precise, comforting, elegantly elevated and memorable. Elements of crisp mountain air, fragrant spruce, crackling fireplace, savoury dishes with a twist of the wilds are represented here. Simply divine! Harmoniously, Ariel (Row Fourteen) gracefully offered best suggestions, friendly conversation and a very personalized service. Bravo Jesse, Daylen, Chef Jonny, Kevin & Ariel and Meg! This was among BEST dining experiences in the valley (Waterfront Restaurant & Wine Bar, Home Block at CedarCreek Estate Winery, Bouchons Bistro, The Restaurant at Poplar Grove) Remember Michelin stars are amazing, but the stars at Longshots are endless! ❤️🏆🏔️❄️⛷️🌲 Perfect for tantalizing foodies, special occasions or simply enjoying life by dining and drinking well!
