I broke down 3 hours from home with my 5 year old on a Sunday, when everything was closed. When I posted for food recommendations in Osoyoos that could deliver to a motel room (as I was without a vehicle and I couldn’t leave my kid to walk anywhere and nothing was close) the owner of Scoopsies reached out to offer free ice cream to help make the ordeal more pleasant for my child and I.
