Place is really cool, the owner was really nice and friendly. fish and chips were ok. Breading thickness was good but The breading tasted burnt and the fish inside was good. Tartar sauce was also pretty good. Played go fish with the family while waiting. Deck of cards was not a whole deck of cards lol
Had the most delicious authentic British pie with the family last night, we had the vegan option which was truly incredible. My partner is from England and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere along with the pie which comes with chips, peas or beans, and a lovely gravy. A charasmatic friendly server completes the experience and you can guarantee we will be back!

My wife & I visit this restaurant every year, sometimes twice a year when we are visiting Vancouver Island. It has always been a great place for fish and chips and other English style food. Apparently there has been a change in ownership. Now the restaurant is only half the size but the food is still good. Our only concern is over the prices.
