I don't usually give bad reviews cold as heck hash browns. Asked if I wanted two seemed like just so she could sell them to me. I was just passing through. Great customer service though. It was even 6.30 in the morning. Its a breakfast fastfood restaurant id expect hot food .

One of the best McDonalds on the island.Not sure who owns and operates this location but they do a terrific job.It’s a very busy place but the drive thru moves right along and the staff they hire are friendly and competent.This franchise runs like a well oiled machine. The difference between other locations such as Nanaimo is very noticeable.Glad we have the best McDonalds in our little city of Parksville.Keep up the good work!

I ordered via the app today and did curbside pickup. One of the items I ordered, a hot fudge sundae, had numerous sharp pieces of hard plastic in it. I had been sharing this with my 3 year old until I found 2 pieces in my mouth. You may want to check your icecream machine and/or clean your hot fudge dispenser. The plastic is sharp!I should add, I did attempt to call the restaurant, but no one answered the phone.
Always check your order before driving away. I ordered and paid for a double cheese burger yesterday and received a single cheese burger.

I went in to order double quarter with cheese meal was told still doing breakfast for the next 8 minutes and asked me to wait. Before even taking the order.Every other McDonald's I've been to since I was a child has been willing to take the order and start it, even if it would take extra time to cook everything but apparently that was a bridge too far for this location.
