Really good beer, really sub par smoked meat.

My family loved the food when they used to do pizza, every time we would fly out to Parksville we would HAVE to stop and get their pizza. Now you guys are a smokehouse, and not a great one.

We ordered the 4 person platter, plus an extra brisket. They didn’t have chicken, so they asked us what we wanted to swap it with, and we asked for even more brisket. It was a pickup order, and we literally were walking it 1/2 a block to the seniors centre.

It was the driest brisket of my life. So was the pulled pork. The ribs were okay. The sausages were also okay. The fries were cold.

Collectively, we all said that this was low quality smoked meat and will likely not order food from here again.

When my family went back the next day to show them the quality of the brisket, the employee offered them 2 free tall boys, so that was at least a nice gesture.

Please bring back your big pizza menu :(

Amazing bar! Jess was so nice, not only the beer made my day,but also the ppl here are so nice! If you have time for a chill beer, trust me, this is the place!

Food so good, felt like a sin.

Came here with a buddy and got the beef brisket tacos and a chicken burger. The food took a while, probably because the place was completely full. Anyway, the brisket in the tacos was tender and flavourful, and the spicy chicken was super juicy and batter fried to perfection!

WOW the bbq food 👌🏻

The brisket, the fried chicken, the cornbread….there is some serious love put into the food here!

We will definitely be visiting again when we return to the island 🙂

Wow! The ribs, plate of meat (i forget what it's called: pulled pork, ribs, and chorizo), and parm fries are flippin' amazing. Oh, and the craziest / best Ceasar salad!

The only bad thing is the maximum capacity of my stomach preventing me from eating more.

Also, their swag is top quality (great hats/toques)

Dog and kid friendly patio which is a bonus

Great craft ale selection and delicious smokehouse BBQ food. Would definitely recommend sharing the 3 pigs platter - it was way too much for just me so we took some home to have for breakfast the next day!

The people here are awesome. Made me laugh. Made me feel comfortable. Made my day. The food was amazing (I had the Hot Honey Chicken with pickles). The beer is worthy of having.

We went there in August and was absolutely disappointed. I ordered the ribs. They were burnt to the bone and not appealing at all. I never complain I just pay the bill and leave. Never to return or recommend. I am a retired professional cook and I would NEVER have sent those ribs out to a customer. You should be embarrassed.

Kind staff, great food. Perfectly oven baked gluten free pizza.

Walking into Mt. Arrowsmith Brewing Company is like stumbling upon a hidden gem where beer and BBQ converge. I ordered the brisket platter, because if you're not diving headfirst into slow-smoked beef at a BBQ joint, you're just not living. The brisket was everything you want it to be: tender, juicy, and rich, like it spent the night whispering sweet nothings to a smoker.

Paired with their Jagged Face IPA, the brisket becomes transcendental, the bitterness of the hops cutting through the fat like a knife through butter. It’s a pairing that makes you wonder why beer and brisket aren’t legally required to be served together.

This place doesn’t just serve food—it offers therapy by the bite. trust me, by the end of the meal, I felt like I’d been spiritually hugged. Beer and BBQ, you surely can’t go wrong!
