The burgers are absolutely legit! The beef, cheese, bacon, mushrooms and bun etc. are ridiculously delicious. A few reviewers thought pricing was high but my wife and I don't agree because the burgers here taste so much better than what you get from the popular and pricy casual dining establishments. The onion rings rock! That batter is awesome. Oh, the vanilla milkshake so creamy and smooth. You got to grab a burger from Papa's when in the Parksville area! Take out or dine outside only and no washroom here as others have noted.

Amazing mushroom burger, they hand make their patties.
Fish and chips tastes like fish not fry oil and the batter is thin and crispy.
Coleslaw is nice and creamy as is the tartar sauce.
Fries have a good mix of golden and crispies. Not over cooked at all.
The girl at the till gave our almost 3 year old crayons and paper.
When our son dropped his burger pattie on the ground they barely charged us anything when we asked to buy a replacement and they cooked it immediately for us.
Next time we’re in parksville we will be back and will be telling our friends about this place and our experience.

Best burger I've had that I can remember. I had the bacon cheddar. I don't know what it is exactly that makes it so good which is largely why I'm taking the time to share this place. There isn't a special sauce or pickled weird stuff, pickle obviously exempt. I think it's the patty and how it's either prepared, seasoned or cooked. Likely all 3. Extremely good balance on these burgers!!! They're not super cheap because they're very very good. I was pleasantly surprised.
