Wow - finally a great coffee/lunch place in Parksville! Awesome baked goods (double baked almond croissant), fabulous coffee (made exactly as requested: extra hot, non fat cappuccino), nice comfortable decor, not too loud, and absolutely wonderful service!
Visiting my parents and came for breakfast this morning. Great food and great service! We will be back!

Brazen Poppy Bakery Restaurant is an amazing little gem with exceptional flaky pastry. The lemon cruffin is a favourite, and all bakery items are incredible. The café offers a high tea service on Sundays with a selection of loose teas, black teas, and chai; the tea was really lovely, fresh, and there was so much food. Coffee is great, and the ham & cheese croissant is delicious. The chill vibe and super nice staff add to the warm, inviting space, with a calming ambience from the music playlist. Prices are fair. Make sure to order the cinnamon bun with icing on top; the avocado toast is one of the best, made with their own light and fluffy sourdough. The breakfast sandwich and cinnamon bun french toast are fresh and delicious. However, some bakery products were stale; the chocolate square needed a knife to cut, and the carrot cake had a thick layer of icing sugar in grease. This may be a very good restaurant for lunch or breakfast, but not a bakery.
