I have never felt more warmly welcome in an establishment! I was in Pemberton for work and stopped in on my first evening, everyone was kind and warm. I spent some time talking to the owner who truly has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever met. On top of the atmosphere, the food was great and I came back the next day.
This the nicest place I have been to so far in Canada after two weeks. I stumbled in during a short break on a long bike ride and I was welcomed warmly by the owner, who kindly directed me around. The food was great, and they have this great model train running in the store. It was also the first place in Canada that did not ask for a tip on the card-machine. Unfortunately, I did not have cash on me, because they are so reasonably priced that I would have tipped 20%.
The food is delicious — every bite full of flavor and clearly made with care. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality. It’s the kind of spot where you can enjoy a comforting meal without breaking...
