Excellent location, atmosphere, and food. We both got the mushroom gnocchi and it was amazing! And a chocolate cake to top it off. Excellent service and quality of food!

Absolutely incredible meal we had at the Hub, I had the homemade pasta and kale salad, and I didn't know kale could taste so good. We also tried a square of the pizza and it was perfection...crispy yet doughy fluffy crust and homemade sauce, incredibly talented chef. Thank you for the beautiful food!

Absolutely outstanding food! I had the Japanese temple tasting menu - a truly fantastic sampling of various vegetarian dishes.
The ambience was fantastic too!

We had an excellent dinner at hub - excellent food (it was vegetarian Japanese tasting menu) thoughtfully put together, great wine, beautiful view and friendly service.
Similar to fine dining, so not the cheapest, but it was a great treat

One of the worst restaurant experiences in a long time. From the moment we walked in thr door, the server seemed irritated that we were even there. Then once our food arrived, we tries to get a bit of soy sauce for our plain white rice, and the "chef" himself personally came to our table to try and shame us for even asking. Unbelievably pretentious, rude man serving mediocre food at best. Literally said "yes we have soy sauce but i won't give you any for your rice" Telling us that asking for soy sauce for his overcooked plain white rice is "like asking for ketchup". Get over yourself...
Absolutely never experienced anything like this guy before.
Would highly recommend avoiding this place. 60$ a head for so-so food and an offensively bad dining experience

Hahaha the service was insane. Chef was offended when we asked for soy sauce for the plain white rice and dishes he couldn't even remember the names of. Server seemed disgruntled and made us feel like a nuisance. The cider was flat to boot. Too bad the location is gorgeous and the playlist was good!

Absolutely scrumptious. The cashew caccio e pepe was as spectacular as the view. GF and vegan options galore.

Great place on Pender. Slow food and everything freshly prepared every day. Small but select menu, a mix of Mediterranean and Japanese influences. Great wines, very cool ambient music and an amazing view. Ask for the chocolate cake, a stunner,

My friends and I were at Pender Island for long weekend getaway and stumbled upon this charming little restaurant at Hope Bay. The restaurant has a soothing atmosphere with beautiful views of the bay. The menu was simple and almost everything is made fresh, in-house. I was dismayed to discover that there was no meat options available. However, my disappointment was allayed once our meals arrived. The dishes had complex flavour profiles and were all delicious! Almost didn't the animal proteins! The portions are a bit small but the taste made up for it. I had the Mediterranean plate which had the most amazing smoked olives! This restaurant was a nice find and don't forget to explore the local shops around the area after the meal
Vegetarian options: The restaurant serves vegetarian fare and vegan options are available

Food was delicious. Highly recommend the mushroom gnocchi, the best my wife and I have had! Service was great with good food and wine recommendations. Sat outside on a warm sunny night. Great spot!

Stumbled upon this restaurant and had a truly memorable meal. Thank you!
Food tastes great and fresh. Quantity is a bit lacking so as long as you don’t go in with expectation that you will be very full, all will be fine. The location is too notch and it is very family friendly

Dined in with 10 people for dinner. Service was great, and food presentation was pretty solid. Food was sadly sub-par, serving size was small, and we left hungry.
I personally tried 2 different plates and had the pasta with broccoli to myself. No real great flavors or wow factor to be had on the dishes we tried, disappointing. These are 22$-25$+ dishes.
Unfortunately i wasn't the only one that felt this way, our group pretty much agreed afterward, and none of us were keen to return.
Staff was great, best of luck, hope you can turn things around.
