Service rated ONE star is even way too much for this restaurant. We waited for 10 minutes at the reception and two waitresses bypassed us. Finally we got our table. Another 10 minutes and I waved to one waitress asked for ordering. She said “I’m not your server. We are all so busy and you haven’t been here for long.” Waited another 10 minutes, ordered food and server sent our plates with banging on the table. In the end, I pressed all the buttons on POS and got the customer copy - about to take off. The server stopped me and asked: did I take the two copies (merchant’s and customer’s)? The weirdest and most not accommodating restaurant ever.

As long time residents and visitors (mixed group) to the island, it was very disappointing to see Syrens be completely unaccommodating and uninterested in serving us.
A group of us came to Syrens to hopefully have drinks and perhaps a light meal or snacks, but it was clear that they seemed completely inconvenienced by our presence.
The restaurant/pub was almost empty, but they couldn't be bothered to have us. Merely wiping down a couple of tables and setting them was made out to be a monumental task by the wait staff.
In the end, we decided not to inconvenience Syrens with our presence and money. They seemed to prefer it that way and we saved a lot of money.

Had an absolutely wonderful anniversary dinner at Sirens Bistro. Bella, our server was very attentive and lovely to speak with. My husband ordered the seafood spaghettini and he would give it an eleven if there was such a thing. I ordered the poke bowl and, living in Vancouver, poke bowls are everywhere and I have had many. Not only was this one the best blend of flavors but, when I passed it to my husband to finish it as I was stuffed, there was still ahi tuna left. It was jammed with tuna. The staff worked so hard and it was evident in our evening. Beautiful location, fantastic meal, wonderful service 5+ all the way!

I asked if I can have a table with my dog to the mid 30 skinny tall man server who was finishing serving ppl outside of patio after his customers left. Because the reception is inside of the hotel so I thought the dog is not allowed to go inside. He was so rude to respond me nothing. He doesn’t want me to help or don’t want me to come to the restaurant? He just said I don’t know. You work there some sort of friendly help might be nice.
But the young lady server who served us after what happened was amazing. She was so kind and friendly. And food was delicious.

Ate here twice and it was great both times. We loved the poke nachos and prime rib special! Staff were very friendly as well!
We dropped in for lunch and had the mussels & frites and chicken wings - they were both delicious. The mussels were super fresh and the fries were some of the best I've had in a while. Fantastic, friendly service as well! Will definitely be back.
