I don't know why this place has any negative reviews, because our experience was amazing. Like a lot of the reviews, the highlight was the poke nachos, but the mussels and fries was incredible, and the salmon burger was fantastic too. The service was great (I will say we are here in the off season, so maybe that makes a difference). We were trepidatious about coming here because of the low rating but we were so pleasantly surprised. Give this place a chance! We are so happy we did. Also lots of gluten free options!

The food was amazing!!! All three meals that I had there were served piping hot. Very generous portions of food, I had to get a to go box each time. The chef is very talented and I would highly recommend eating here.

It's exactly what you hope for: courteous, prompt, and professional service, great views, delicious food. The Poke Nachos are deadly good. The Bedwell Burger is a fairly standard, slightly above aversge good burger. Very confused by other reviews bashing wait staff, complaining about wait times... We were shown to a table seconds after arriving, food was quick, service timing was even just right for picking what we would order. The Blueberry Mule was decent, nothing to write home about but a tasty drink to accompany absolutely massive portions. We will definitely be back on our next trip through the islands.

The service here was incredibly bad. It took 3 hours to get our meal. They brought out the wrong food twice, and we couldn't even get drinks during most of that time. The chowder was good, but the rest of the food was mediocre at best. We definitely won't go back to this restaurant.

The wait staff were totally disinterested, and borderline rude to both myself and the party I was with. When we asked to sit at an unreserved, and unoccupied table, we were denied, and sat at a rickety table, tucked far in the corner. I cannot speak more poorly to the experience, and I cannot recommend that any person waste their money at this establishment.

Nice service, good wine list, great views of the marina and water. What’s not to like? Give them a try if on Pender Island.

Many reviews mentioned the Poke Nachos, so I ordered it. Yum! Just one hint though, the middle of the dish contains the guac, onions & tomato. My spouse ordered the chicken wings and they were very moist.
Lovely spot for an outdoor meal. Service was both prompt and friendly. Food is acceptable but forgettable. I spotless suggest ordering the item least complicated for the kitchen.

Service rated ONE star is even way too much for this restaurant. We waited for 10 minutes at the reception and two waitresses bypassed us. Finally we got our table. Another 10 minutes and I waved to one waitress asked for ordering. She said “I’m not your server. We are all so busy and you haven’t been here for long.” Waited another 10 minutes, ordered food and server sent our plates with banging on the table. In the end, I pressed all the buttons on POS and got the customer copy - about to take off. The server stopped me and asked: did I take the two copies (merchant’s and customer’s)? The weirdest and most not accommodating restaurant ever.
