I had just finished a long day, I wasn't feeling the greatest and he was so friendly and efficient taking my order but most importantly he made me laugh. One of the employees at the 1402 Main Street location in Penticton BC..... Kiren was extremely helpful when I mentioned there wasn't a coupon available in the most recent coupon book for an individual Bacon & Egger combo. She provided me the order at the coupon price without hesitation. I am a low income disabled senior on a limited income so I was very pleased with this excellent service from this young woman. She is a very polite, friendly and caring person who went the extra mile to assist me. More people like her are needed in the fast food industry. My experience at this location was superb as far as customer service is concerned. I love that I can get a breakfast sandwich combo with hash browns....not fries....any time of the day not like at other fast food restaurants that only serve hash browns until 11am or worse yet no breakfast items after 10:30 am. I like to have the egg cooked a little softer but I forgot to specify that so the egg was a little too overcooked for my liking. Next time I will remember to ask for that. Great job and keep up the good work Kiren!!
Parking: There is a handicap spot but I have difficulty lifting my legs up to the curb in front of the spot so have to go to the back of the area to have comfortable access to walk.
Wheelchair accessibility: There was a gentleman who came in the store when we were dining in who was in a wheelchair. It looked like he was able to access the store relatively easily.

I came to the store and waited for 10 mins at the front with no line up for someone to take my order. The three employees (2 boys 1 girl) saw me and just ignored so rudely. I usually come to this a&w in town but this was my worst experience ever. The girl was not trained well to understand a no modification burger I was ordering & I ask her to put burgers in different bags but she ended up putting them in a same bag. Inordinately untrained & Poor staff !!!!!!
I am at the Penticton Hospital for a procedure. I am fond of Beyond Burgers due to diabetes type 2. I asked the girl on the phone if they deliver? She said Door Dash and some other delivery options. I explained that I am from a small town of 7,000 people and I didn't know what she was talking about. She said No i can't help you and hung up. I called both A & W's. I am looking at getting back to Trail where staff are friendly and excellent service.

This review is a few months too late (life got in the way) I was in Penticton w my daughter on our first mother daughter solo trip camping and my car battery died while I was in the drive-thru!!! I was immediately panicked and stressed not having my husband and being alone w my 4 yo daughter with a dead car... The owner of this restaurant happened to be on site and was beyond helpful! He & one of his employees helped get my car out of the drive-thru into the lot and he then pulled his truck around and jumped my battery back to life. He also tailed me to a garage to see if I could have my vehicle looked at before making it onto the hwy for a 4 hour drive back home... He really helped me out & I could not be more grateful! *while we don't necessarily eat fast food, we are also a big A&W fam!!!

First of all this A&W is one of the slowest in BC and every time i order black coffee it taste like hot water. Today i ordered 2 buddy burgers with cheese i was very hungry when i ate first it was soo bad but i still ate it cause i was hungry and after that i puked. Beef patty or grilled onions were disgusted. Never going back.

Ordered a BLT Had no lettuce no tomato or bacon on it. No mayo either. Really not happy. I paid for the lettuce, and bacon and tomato. Definitely will NOT be coming back.
