Ask them to don’t put raw onions in chholle bathure but they add it and I tell them I said I don’t want onions and girl said she can bring me another plate so I can take them out . I ask her for another plate but she brings me same one because she took out onions from same plate but there was onion in achaar too and she didn’t notice that.

Can't say anything about the service or atmosphere because I ordered online. I usually go to Penticton Indian food which I love but door dash had a 60% off deal but you can't get Penticton Indian food through door dash so I took a chance on a new place. I really do regret that. The portions were huge but the food was not good at all. The pakora were so salty you can taste the msg and literally soaking in red food dye. I thought thy were on a bed of red peppers but turns out they were onions died bright red also. Disgusting. I didn't want to give it to my child at all. I ordered the mango chicken which was lacking flavor but I will give them credit for putting lots of chicken in the curry. The naan was huge and actually pretty good and they gave lots of rice. The flavor just wasn't there for me though and made me feel nauseous. Too bad.

If I have to go to penticton I try to make sure I'll be there around lunch time to come in for the butter chicken special with beef samosas with their mint dip.If you ask for spicy ?, you'll definitely get spicy. ?

Zero recommendation!!!! The restaurant team was pretty much rude and they didn’t stand up to their customer service. Online it was showing that they were open till 10pm but they closed the dine in restaurant an hour ago and they refuse to serve the food but somehow they allowed the takeout but they made the dishes inedible .. The overall experience was pretty much bad and harassing.
Tried Ashoka restaurant but food was not that good as we expected. Ordered Chicken biryani but Chicken was not cooked properly and it taste like raw chicken.

Meat and veggie dishes all had plenty of flavor. The naan were large and fluffy. Plenty of seating available in the restaurant and staff was very friendly. Pricing was also very reasonable. Can't go wrong with the butter chicken and naan !

The restaurant was empty when we walked in which may be should have been an indication of things. Mediocre service and poor quality food sums our experience up. The fish pakora was so salty that it was barely edible. The rest of the food was also heavily salted. The chicken tika masala was OK but the portion size very small. The popadums were over cooked and again, incredibly salty. The naan bread was good.
