Always enjoy everything except the 20% tip for our group of 10. Our server was great and I apologize for some of the reactions. But really it was a bit much. We all tip without forcing it. Sadly some won’t return.
Usually when we go there the food and service are top notch. Unfortunately today it was not. Our table was on the upper section, I had to reminder our server of the drink I ordered which she forgot. The group also asked for water and that was forgotten also. Once she was reminded then she brought the drinks which was too late because the meal was almost finished. Also the perogies I ordered were tough to eat. The tip I provided was too much and should not have been given because...
A true local favourite! Barley Mill’s menu has something for everyone. Tonight we had the blackened chicken salad and the steak sandwich with a house salad—absolutely delicious. The patio made for a perfect evening. Always a go-to spot! However next time will have the brew fries 😁
