Stopped in at one of my favorite wineries while biking the Naramata Bench for our annual fall trip. Unfortunately, we encountered a very surly and unfriendly fellow who deterred us from purchasing our wine to enjoy on the patio. His claims that they were swamped and there would be no place for us on the huge patio were over the top. The rest of the staff were lovely and tried to accommodate us to see we were served but this fellow seemed tired of customers. So disappointing as it’s usually our favourite stop and wine .

Stopped in here during a little winery crawl and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, it made the experience even better. The atmosphere was very nice and the tastings were $6 for 5 wines and they void that if you purchase a bottle, which of course we did! Would recommend.

The view is amazing. The snacks are delicious. Even though we had a reservation, they said they had to cancel ay the last min, but we managed to sort it out, although we had to deal with a lot of phone calls.

The knowledgable Katrina served us a tasting and we enjoyed every bit of it! Thanks for the expertise on the delicious wines. We took a short walk around the beautiful vineyard and area afterwards. Great views of the lake.

The food and the view was really good. I'm not really a wine connoisseur but I enjoyed the experience anyways. I had the tacos, some of the feta dip, and some of the salad. Thank you for the great experience.

We LOVED this winery. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They treated us so well and when they found out we had a recently married couple among us they gave us extra care. We tried the wine tasting and had lunch here. Food was super delicious and wine was excellent. We highly recommend it. Will be back here and highly recommend it to all.

Ezit was a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about explaining the lovely wines at Bench 1775. Me and my partner were guided through a wonderful tasting of 5 of their wines. I left more educated than before on much of the wine and barreling process, and would recommend to anyone!! The Bistro is only open Thursday to Sunday, but you are able to purchase a bottle and drink it on their patio with an incredible view. 10/10 recommend!!!
Must visit! The winery itself has the most beautiful views of the lake and the wine itself was insanely good. She made sure Bench 1775 became the highlight of our trip. Can’t wait to come back!

The winery, view and the wines were amazing, but what was a cherry on top was the staff. Wonderful Ezit, saved the whole experience for us! Our car broke and we were over an hour late for the tasting, but she saved the table for us, took care of us after this very long and stressful day and even offered a drive back to town. Truly Amazing person! I’ll be back for sure, this time hoping to spend more time and try the food.

Probably 4.5, but I cannot enter that. This was a return visit. The atmosphere was more relaxed a few years ago. They have a wide selection of wines, perhaps too many. None are WOW, but many were quite drinkable.Malachi was our host, and to be honest the most memorable aspect of the entire visit.The site and the view are excellent.Perhaps offering premium tasting in a quieter more private setting is something to consider.Definitely worth a visit.
