It is always nice to stop in at Black Widow winery, such great people and location. Standing out in a sea of wineries is a difficult chore but Dick and his family have done it. All of their wines are very pleasing to my palate, we did purchase 3 cases and will be ordering more as time goes by,

Great experience ! We were a group of 4, and did the tasting in the early afternoon. The hostess was funny and knowledgeable about the wine and the local area restaurants and venues. The wines in the tasting are self selected so you can pick what fancies your palate. I tried four reds, and a white. All were full flavored and unique in their characteristics. Sooo good, we bought a couple bottles. Will definitely go back for more.

The "barrel tasting" is my favourite event, any winery does all year. Sample the barrel aged reds a couple of weeks before they go into the bottle. What's not to love. The current crop were all delicious.
