If you either love Scotch eggs or never had one, i would recommend going to Britbar. I had a Scotch egg there today - it was the best ever! . The place has such a great atmosphere, and the owner Martyn, is wonderful to talk to - friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what he does. Highly recommend stopping by there!

i’m hesitant to bother leaving a review as i notice the owner seems to get defensive over other posted reviews
i really had a good to time. we got there pretty early around 8:30 pm, because im old and like to be in bed early 🤣the owner humoured me and started up his karaoke equipment up early so i could sing haha!
the bar was dead but its a sunday night, so we weren’t expecting a crowd. a few showed up later and were friendly and fun to around. good vibe all around with the brit memorabilia to boot.
however the owner , who seemed friendly, we were talking with him at the bar, may have been making jokes at my expense which was over my head at first , but after reflecting i can see how this may have been, i was told by the people in my group who over heard . it was also heard that he told another patron that the customers needs to be trained… seemed like a strange comment , not very customer oriented . i never had any food so i can’t review that. the drinks i had were good and relatively well priced compared to other establishments in Penticton
overall a good time was had

Bachelorette was a fabulous time. Decor, people, vibe, and service was excellent. Came here for Sunday karaoke night and it was so much fun!! There’s a little stage and the crowd is a good time!

Did not order food however was very cool. Games set up like Jenga, Mario kart amd walk up karaoke. British theme was cool. The decor is on the cheaper side painted however adds to the environment. Very cool hip pub. Looking forward to going back.

Didn’t want to go here first because it’s a Brit bar and I’m Irish. Nothing against a brit either, just wouldn’t go into a Brit bar.
Walked in and there was an irish flag hanging on the rafters with the rest of the British countries. Obviously I wasn’t happy about that.
Anyways I was talking to the owner then, Martin, and he was such a gent. He had it up there for good intentions. He wanted to be inviting to Irish people also, and seemed quite genuine about it too. When I asked him about it he agreed to take it down by the next day.
True to his word, it was gone in 15 minutes. What a guy. Opposed from that the brit bar is is serious craic too.
