We are thrilled to have the people behind Villa Rosa back serving food in Penticton. The quality of the ingredients was top notch in every dish we tried. Service was professional yet friendly. No rushing you out the door, unless you need to. Location across the street from Okanagan Lake makes for fun energy and beautiful scenery.

Every time we go here we have a really good time. Last night there were 4 of us for dinner and drinks. The pasta dishes we all had were great for everyone. The cocktails were also very good.

We loved Villa Rosa and still love Sociale, but it isn't what it used to be. Service was very slow and for a tapas place, that isn't great. And while several dishes were excellent (the arancini and the risotto), others were so-so: veal marsala too heavily breaded and buratto "seasonal flavorings" rather sparse. We still had a good time, and will come back, but things seemed a little slack.

Food was great. Service was good until it was time for our cheque. Took 45 minutes from the time we asked for the bill to the time we finally were able to pay and leave. Lots going on - cafe, restaurant, bar, TVs, music, and a DJ started at 9 pm.

This is a cosy restaurant with excellent tapas and a local wine list. There is a large patio, for summer coffee, lunch, Happy hour and dinner. An amazing team!
