My wife and I walked into Cleopatra Cafe this afternoon and we were blown away. Not only the food being amazing, but the welcoming, the generosity and the coziness. There is something truly special about this place and the person that owns it. If you’re in Summerland, you have to check this place out.

I absolutely loved my visit to Cleopatra's.
I tried the Turkish coffee and it was incredible!
The lady at the counter was very kind and the prices are amazing. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for good food and a unique experience. Can't wait to come back:)

NO IDEA WHY THIS PLACE HAS GOOD REVIEWS
This place is probably the worst restaurant we have ever been to. It feels dirty when you walk in. It smelled like cigarettes, and it just had a kind of weird smell, but there were moments where the food smelled good. We ordered the vegetable falafel platter and the chicken and lamb platter. The food came out, and the falafel platter came with basmati rice, some kind of ragu, overcooked vegetables, a little salad that was literally covered completely with what tasted like Parmesan dip from a pizza restaurant. There was no tzatziki like it claimed to come with, just more of the pizza dip. There was also an Asian spring roll?? As well as what tasted like Western Family whole wheat pita and premade creamy potato salad. The spring roll, and potato salad were not advertised anywhere.
Had a few bites and was too grossed out to continue. The falafel was actually alright tasting tho tbh which was unfortunate cause the rest was so gross. The chicken and lamb came with the same Parmesan pizza restaurant sauce, spring roll, potato salad, ragu and the smothered salad. There was not a single piece of lamb to be found. Chicken was bland.

Had the chicken and beef plate. Terrible. Not traditional flavors at all. I don’t think they know how to cook traditional food. Owner admitted as much. Covered in some indistinguishable sauce reminiscent of bbq sauce. No tzatziki as advertised. Terrible rice and salad and all covered with the same sauce.

Amazing food and portions!!
Best lamb donair I've ever had. So flavourful, large portioned, plenty of meat, and some extra crunch in there for variety in ervery bite. Most mess I've ever made too. You will need napkins :) Friendly staff too.

Plate is big ,I am a big guy i eat for 2 people and a plate full of me, which doesn't happen often .
The only sad part is that they are far away from my place .

I've traveled a lot and went to many restaurants but few can match this place.
The portions were great and the taste was phenomenal. The dine in is a bit small (seats about 15) but very cozy. They went all out with the decoration.
I ordered a mix chicken and lamb wrap as well as a lentil soup for lunch and both tasted great but the lentil soup is a bit spicy so be prepared for that if you order it.

Aboslutely great experience. I have gone to many shawarma places before, but this one outranks them all. The beef donair and chicken is really good. The proces is great and the proportions are good.
Vegetarian options: Vegeterian options available. There is nos shawarma places that has ever done shawarma as good as this one.

We went there on Monday the 5th of August. There were 6 of us for brunch, it was so good and the assortment of items were so good. The owners are very friendly, we had the most pleasant meal, everyone was full and we had some to take home. We stopped after the Kettle Valley Steam Train trip and had ice cream next door. They also own the ice cream place.
We all agreed we will go back when next were in Summerland.

Also don't miss the Kettle Valley Train ride, it's very historical
