Four Shadows Vineyard & Winery

Such a great tasting, beautiful wines. Great explanations of the wine and cozy patio right by the vines!
I really enjoyed their Chardonnay and Rose, a little surprising to me as they are not usually my go to… Pinot blanc and rieslings were also delicious… everything was to be honest. I will definitely be back:)

I highly recommend spending a summer afternoon at this lovely place. In addition to the high-quality wine, I was captivated by the European inspired architecture, full of symbols and intricate details that evoke the essence of Europe. Moreover, the owner is a wonderful person. She shared fascinating stories about their business and provided us with a wealth of information about their wines. And to top it off, the prices were very reasonable! It's clear there's a significant difference between businesses that seek quick growth and those that strive to create an exceptional experience for their customers. 4 Shadows definitely aims to offer that unique experience. It stood out from the other wineries we visited in Penticton during our trip.

From the many vineyards in the Okanaga Valley we chose the "Four Shadows Winery" to visit for two reasons; the first was that it was recommended by our Canadian friend Oly because of the delicious wines, but the second reason was that the owners Joka and Wilbert, who grew up in the Netherlands and then emigrated to Canada, bought this 17-acre vineyard in 2011 and further expanded it into what it is today.

We were certainly not disappointed, on the contrary, we received a very warm welcome from Joka and Donna, who told us in detail about the history and challenges as wine growers, and then served us some delicious glasses of Pino Blanc and Riesling.

This winery is highly recommended for all Dutch people who visit the Okanagan Valley and are looking for a nice tasting experience!!

Was told industry tastings are only for people who work in other wineries not restaurants that serve BC wines; this wouldn’t have been an issue had this been explained in a polite manner. Will not be coming back.

Incredible experience here. Stopped in on a whim while travelling because we liked the logo and the name. Lindsay gave us some awesome information about the history of the vineyard and how the winery came about. Great selection of wines. We really enjoyed everything we got to taste. The Chardonnay was our favorite. Hope to stop here again next time we go through the area

Love this Winery, the Rose is next level. So was the Merlot and the Noir....you just have to go and try them all. We had such a lovley experience here HIGHLY recommend. We left with a box it was that good!!! Thankyou so much for making us feel so welcome!!

Wonderful small winery with a beautiful story and fantastic wines

This is a hidden gem! We were recommended this winery by a few different wineries on the bench…. And it did not disappoint! This family run winery quickly became one of our new favourites! We loved meeting one of the lovely owners in the tasting room. The tasting room, staff, wine and whole experience was top notch! We can’t wait to come back and stock up on our favourites again!

We recently visited Four Shadows for the first time - it's easily one of my favorites now. Such a calm and relaxing atmosphere paired with great wines at very good prices. Go for the rosé, it's my new favorite.
