Lovely restaurant with amazing food. We opted for the Thanksgiving menu and it was really tasty! Small portions of several dishes and we loved them all. The desert was outstanding and we kept mentioning for a few days after that. Our server, Sarah impressed us. We were a big group of fourteen people and she was quick to serve us all, did not mix up anything and was so cheerful throughout our dinner!

I love this winery it is so Fiona's will Definitely go back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor patio areas. We had a lovely lunch, very tasty but my friend sent his steak back because the whole dish was cold and served on cold plates. He was told the steak is cold because it has to sit and rest after cooking, our friend was slightly amused as he is a chef! Despite this we would still go back as it is a lovely wine and dining experience.

Very nice spot for lunch. The food was good, specially the beet appetizer. The portions aren't generous, but we are light eaters so for us it was fine. The service was good and friendly. The wines offered with lunch were of good quality but not memorable, compared to other winery restaurants we have visited in the Okanagan for over a week. The one point for the management to address is not to bring the bill to customers that haven't asked for it. I had to politely ask the server to go away after she came with the credit card machine while we were still enjoying our wine. Other than that the servers were all very polite and attentive.

Tried a wine flight and ended up buying two bottles of the wine. The views of the Naramata bench and the Okanagan Valley from the patio are spectacular.

The ‘bistro’ restaurant is in a nice location but sadly let down by the quality of the food and variable service for the prices charged. My salmon dish was ok, but my partner’s ‘field’ option disappointing (and ill described on the menu). Whilst the staff were friendly, towards the end of the meal they were more occupied with setting up for the next day than serving remaining customers - we gave up on trying to order a dessert and ended up just getting the bill. A disappointing night out - we’ve had so much better meals and value on our BC travels. Shame.

We had the pleasure of having our wine tasting done by Tim & he was great to listen to for the history and the details on the wines. It was one of my favourite tasting experiences by far, he really made great conversations on the wines while answering all of our wine questions. It was what sold us on the bottles for sure!
We joined family, whom we hadn't seen in ages. We had a wonderful evening, reconnecting, enjoying a delicious meal, and imbibing wonderful wine. The ambience was wonderful, the service exceptional, and the food was outstanding.

We had our wedding here on September 13, 2025. Hillside Winery and Lisa were absolutely incredible. I can’t say enough positive things!. From the very beginning, Lisa was so easy to work with and made sure our day was exactly how we wanted it. The food, the service, the venue, the wine - everything was perfect. They made everything so easy and having the ceremony, dinner and evening reception all in one place was so great for our guests. We had so many compliments! Super easy to decorate as the venue itself is already so beautiful. It was an absolutely perfect day that I will never forget!

There wasn't much on the menu. A few shareables, a vegi dish, a fish dish, a meat dish, and tacos. Not too hungry so we ordered tacos, four to an order so two orders of those. Tiny but filling although not tasty unless the super-hot sauce was added. No sign of our server once the food was dropped, in stark contrast to the table next to us whose server was extremely attentive. We often enjoyed Hillside in the past but wouldn't now go back.

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch with wine pairings at the bistro. The setting is lovely, the service attentive and friendly, and the food is excellent. The chef really knows what he is doing. We enjoyed the wine pairings, especially the Mosaic, and the Chef’s White. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal or a tasting if you are in the area.
