An absolute gem in Penticton!
We had such a great experience at La Frenz Winery. The wine tasting was absolutely fantastic. Every pour was thoughtfully explained and full of character. The service stood out just as much as the wine: warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.
What really impressed us was how kid-friendly they were. It’s not always easy to find places that balance a great adult tasting experience with genuine hospitality toward families, but La Frenz nailed it.
Beautiful views, good wine, and kind people. Can't wait to return.
Highly recommend!
We had a very enjoyable tasting on the patio, our server Brent (I think) was very informative and easy to chat with. The wines were great as was the view overlooking Skaha Lake. We will definitely be back.
Hugely impressed after a disappointing tasting with some of the larger vineyards. Wines were exceptional. Huge shout out to Michael who took us through the tasting. Funny, extremely knowledgeable about the wine, terroir, geology and just general facts about the Okanagan. A must stop and hopefully you get Michael running your tasting.
Wine comes out all at the same time.. we like to take our time, talk, and be educated. By the time we got to our 3rd glass it was all very warm. Not to mention the descriptions of all the wines were one large speech at the beginning. No idea what was said half way through. Awesome patio.
Tasting is a good price. The 'greeter' Nicki was very rude but Emily who actually served us is a gem - very knowledgeable and happy to be alive!
snooty
Our group arrived @ 4:10pm, and was told by employee Nicki that they won’t offer tastings past 4:15pm and would not take us in (despite noting that they close at 5pm). Would not seat us at the patio either, and we ended up walking away quite disappointed. We are wine club members, absolutely love the Syrah & Sauv Blanc especially, but were treated incredibly poorly by Nicki. Reconsidering our 7+ year wine club membership as a result of the dismissive treatment.
Stopped by here yesterday and we had a wonderful time! Michael was the one helping us during our tasting and he was amazing. Very informative, funny and kind. The little patio was very nice and had pretty views of Okanagan lake and penticton. They offered us blankets because it was a bit chilly which was great. The wines were also fabulous. Would definitely recommend this winery and the wines to anyone and I will certainly be back.
We loved our tasting at La Frenz! Such a beautiful patio and tasting room. The gentleman who led our tasting was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic. We all learned something and enjoyed some fantastic wine. Had to get a couple bottles to enjoy at home! Will definitely be back!
Very good wines!. Nice tasting room with outside patio. It was raining when we were there but they had the patio heaters on?

A cozy, small, and nice wine tasting place. There’s ample parking. There’s not much staff to attend to guests though. It is one of the winery that you can visit in Penticton. It is only a 7–10-minute drive from Penticton City Centre.
Fine wines!
Enjoyed our wine tasting, beautiful views and lovely covered patio where dogs are allowed. They brought out some water for our pup which was very thoughtful. They seem to know their winery language (even if I didn’t understand half of it). I enjoyed the white wines. $10/ person for tasting which is refunded if you buy 3+ bottles of wine.
Michael facilitated our wine tasting and he was wonderful. We had a great experience, probably our favourite of the trip! Thank you Michael!!
Amazing and hospitality place. Barry is the best
