Me and my mom went to this location a few days ago and we love the food here. The pricing was decent enough and the atmosphere was relaxing. Although the service wasn’t perfect, the overall experience was great! :)

Just visited Lalaji’s Indian Cuisine and I had to share how amazing my experience was. The malai chaamp was incredibly tender and rich—one of the best I’ve had. The kulche chhole hit that perfect balance of spice and comfort, and the paper chaat was a fun, crispy delight with a burst of flavors.

The ambience was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind. And I can’t say enough about the staff—so helpful and kind, they made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Indian food served with heart!

The worst place to eat in penticton
Poor service have to wait 20 minutes from food , then 10 minutes for roti asked immideately, and surprisingly have to sit for 15 minutes to get the bill..
Worst food, less quantity, asked for raita and got sweet curd,
Will recommend to come never

Very Disappointed,We came from kelowna with family to have dinner today, food quality was very poor, and servers very rude, didn’t not offer anything to eat , we had to ask servers many times, they didn’t come to table to ask anything about food or do we need anything else, so rude behaviour, we will never come to this place again, 0 Star

It's great to see the return of buffet style eating out. There are currently four restaurants in the Penticton to Kelowna corridor that are actively experimenting with this format. The offerings are similar, but the open hours are quite varied. Call ahead.

Lala ji's is the standout, but it's worth checking out all the locations. The Butter Chicken and the Chicken Korma ar Lala Ji's are a cut above the rest.

This place is seems like old Delhi ….somebody spits on the walls food was so bad and service ..employees just standing and talking they should clean the place washrooms are yukk 😤

I went with my friends and ordered 7-8 appetizers but they were not good . There was very bad taste for the most of the items

Tired decor messy at front desk .... dusty...

Fast forward to 2025...... I try again.....the staff are lovely the young girls are so polite.... pity the restaurant is filthy.
I was handed a paper menu with dirty fingerprints all over.... Clean the washrooms and restaurant!
