Awesome friendly place
Stopped by this spot twice last week while my partner and I were staying nearby. Some of the great things that stood out: The beer was amazing — especially the Pale Ale, which had us coming back for more! Food was decent, though some items like the tacos weren’t available for takeout (maybe they think their tacos are too fancy to box up lol?). Lots of gluten free options which was great for us. It’d be a good idea to mark the gluten-free options on the menu as ‘GF’ or something though. Also lots of vegan options!! The dog-friendly patio with lots of cute pups was a nice touch. Staff were also all super friendly.
A few downsides: no hard alcohol or shaken cocktails, unlike some of the other breweries nearby. Also, the hours on Google aren’t totally accurate—drinks actually stopped at 9:45 PM on the weekend, where as it’s listed as 10:00 PM here on google. Lastly, during our second visit, it was a bit off-putting hearing the chefs in the kitchen yell and swear at other staff members (our actual server being one of them). We sat close to the kitchen near the bar, only just a few tables away, so I know we weren’t the only ones to hear it that night if we could from where we were sitting.
Overall, the patio, drinks, food (mostly), and atmosphere were great, making this a definite must visit in Penticton! However all of these issues definitely stood out a lot more to us during our second visit, which negatively affected the enjoyability of the restaurant and our experience that time around.
Wow. Don’t go here. The staff are rude. Cant believe the way we were treated. Just pure disrespect to our large group. Unbelievable. They don’t care about your businesses and neither should you. AVOID THIS PLACE!!
Visiting from Vancouver, we had chose Neighborhood Brewing for a group dinner for 7 on a Saturday night based on a great experience last year. We ordered appies, drinks and mains, and the appetizers arrived at the same time as the mains 1.5 hrs later. WOW.
Service was abysmal, slow, rude and our server notified us after 1 beverage, that we were cut off despite our group being quiet, polite and only having one drink each.
Think twice before visiting this brew pub to avoid disappointment. Terrible service.
There are better establishments in Penticton.
Had the privilege of having Hannah as my server tonight, she was excellent with my son and I, not only was she very attentive and present , but also funny and a joy to have, made the experience worth coming for, 10/10.
Delicious drinks! The yellow dog margarita on tap and the peach sour were delicious. The staff are very sweet and were super accommodating with dietary restrictions
Never had a bad time here. Good beer. Good food. Good atmosphere. 10/10 highly recommended.
Had the peach sour and the queso birria. OH MY GOSH. The sour may be my new favourite. The queso birria was insane. Best I’ve ever had. The beans on the side had a little spice and I loved them. The Mexican rice side was mediocre - rice seemed a little dry and lacked much flavour. Nonetheless, I would absolutely recommend Neighbourhood!
Happy Place Juicy Pale Ale 10/10 !!
I called Dec 31 to make a reservation for January 1. I was told that they don't accept reservations but they were open until 6pm. I said we'd be there for 4:30 for 4 people and the guy told me that would not be an issue. I arrived at 4:30 with my family for dinner and was met at the door to tell me that Neighborhood was closing at 5pm today and they had already done last call. I explain that I had made arrangements the day before but was told that he didn't know who said that but too bad.
That was embarrassing to show up with my family and then be turned away at the door.

Amazing little spot, the beers here are amazing, you can get a flight or a bunch of smaller sized tasters which are amazing, I got a burrito which was smaller than I expected for the price point, It seems to have gotten smaller than the last time I was here. otherwise a wonderful experience, the servers were amazing and the atmosphere was en pointe
been coming here consistently for date nights & we get so excited each time rather it's for something we've never tried or something we've had 10 times!!
Good selection of brews, very modern west coast emphasis on IPAs, sours, and some lagers and ales.
Busy place but it's a large, very new and clean building. Service was good the couple times we were there despite it being busy.
Small (4 ounce) glasses of beer available to try a variety of things.
Food was OK, the tater tots were really good and crisp and I'd get them again. The menu is mexican style with a bit of variety influence on the Mexican. Portions were small relative to price and I wasn't wowed by the food overall, but I'd go back for the beers alone for sure.
Food was amazing! Our group had the Tatchos, Chicken Nachos & Buffalo cauliflower bites.
The Hazy IPA was my favourite on tap!
Food was pretty good. Glass of wine my partner got taste like boxed wine but I guess it's a brewery. Service was subpar both times I've been there.
