I work less than 5 minutes away from there, everything was soggy by the time it got to me, hard to justify with the short commute in boxes but still kind of understandable I guess.
Heard bad things from people but decided to try it myself since there was a but one get one free offer for 2 pc cod and chips and also for onion rings and it seemed like a good deal.
The onion rings are ok, but such small slivers of onion in them that they might as well be called batter rings. Literally a millimeter thin slice in each one.
The fries were gross, soggy and did not eat them
The fish was over cooked, and tasted like dirty oil and I did not finish it. I am pretty sure they are the same as the stuff you can get in a box in the frozen section of grocery stores, that are already precooked and just need to be heated up.
Low and behold, I made it about an hour before I started to get sick for the rest of the day at work.
Not sure if they just never change their oil or if it was old food or something that made me sick, but that never happens to me.
Do not recommend, will never eat from there again. The best fish and chips in town is the barley mill, and buy the sea is close second.

Monday, May 26. Had a craving for fish and chips bad choice. You know you should turn around quickly and walk away when the staff don’t even look at your face and greet you. The fish was overcooked and too crunchy and brown. Definitely wouldn’t spend another dime there let alone put up with the long face and non friendly attitude!!!! I work too hard for my money to waste it and a place like this 😡

I have gone here time and time again for just a single piece of fish, and also tried their poutine. The fish is always perfectly crispy and flavorful, the tartar sace is great. The poutine was a great size for the price and tasted good too!
Will continue to come back.

Got a poutine and a chicken burger The poutine was not bad. Only complaint is the package gravy. Now for the chicken burger. I saw a picture of a chicken burger. And it looks totally different from mine. The picture shows a chicken burger like kfc church burger the I got was like a frozen $10 package chicken from superstore or Walmart value was food was ok for the price i payed.

Got the butter chicken poutine, portion was large, I didn't think I would be able to finish it (i did and it was definitely worth it). Food was flavourful with a delightful level of spice- not to much but does build as you eat, I do recommend the food as a full meal.

Just had 2 piece cod and chips batter was over cooked and fish wasnt cooked enough. U can get exactly same patties from your lical grocery store Will not ever try them again
