The Polish Bistro in Penticton is a fantastic spot, perfectly located and full of charm. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—cozy and inviting, with an authentic Polish feel, while still being a great place to relax, socialize, and enjoy a great meal.
Having been to Poland myself, I was honestly surprised by how incredible the food was—it truly reminded me of the meals I had over there. The pierogies and schnitzel are both top-notch, and if you go, you have to add the mushroom sauce. It’s rich, flavourful, and takes everything to the next level.
It’s also awesome to see they offer a selection of Polish beers like Tyskie—such a nice touch that adds to the authentic vibe.
The gentleman who runs the front is incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed environment that makes you feel at home from the moment you step inside.
If you’re visiting Penticton and appreciate food made with care and heart, The Polish Bistro is absolutely worth a stop. A true taste of Poland right here in the Okanagan!
My wife and I absolutely love your food. We drove all the way from Victoria and the only food we thought about getting on the drive was some of your pierogi
Amazing food and great value!
The Polish Bistro is a hidden gem in Penticton. The cheddar & dill pierogies are incredible, the lazy cabbage rolls and meatballs were so tasty and filling.
Everything tastes homemade and is very reasonably priced. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend!
Great food
great meals ,love the perogies generous portions and the staff and owner are kind ,
Best schnitzel and pierogies ever
Their beet soup is the best I’ve had! Of course they have everything Polish … no point listing it all. Prices are average, food quality is tops, service and atmosphere tops, lots of parking, walk-in for lunch with no wait BUT plan ahead for dinner. We will now go often - lunch / dinner (for us once a month). One of the best places in Penticton.
Polish Bistro is a culinary gem, offering outstanding dishes that impress until the very last bite. Their borsch is a standout favorite of mine. The perogies and the meatballs and cabbage rolls was nostalgic from my childhood eating cabbage rolls and nypfla, paired with attentive and welcoming customer service.
Best pierogi I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Tastes just like home. Perfectly cooked. Highly recommend for authentic Polish food.
I travel to Penticton once a year to attend a weekend event and my absolute favorite restaurant is the Polish Bistro.
They use top quality ingredients and everything is cooked to perfection to satisfy my large appetite. The flavors of the combination meals are fantastic.
The owner/server provides wonderful and attentive service, the atmosphere is relaxing and the restaurant and washrooms are incredibly clean.
Compliments to the owner and his team for providing a pleasurable experience while visiting Penticton. Thank you.

We have been to this place every time we come to Penticton. Loved it every time. Today was different. As soon as we got our food., my husband knocked down a large glass of beer. The owner walked by, looked and kept walking. My husband ran to the kitchen and asked for paper towels, he was given 4. This didn’t not help much, then I run to the kitchen and asked for more. Was told that he would bring some. Meantime, beer is everywhere. My husband runs to the bathroom and brings some paper and the owner shows up with some paper-towels. We cleaned everything up the best we could. Started eating and you can imagine that we were not hungry anymore. I put dirty paper towels on my plate with food left over, the owner comes over and says “ would you like me too wrap this?” We asked for the bill, he brought the machine and left.
This was more awful than you can imagine. Any other place we would have been helped and assured that it’s ok and that things happen. As a result we would have left a huge tip.
I am Slavic. This is phenomenal! The cabbage rolls, the crepe, the perogies, Polish sausages, everything is sooooo tasty and homemade here at the restaurant. Found my fav restaurant in Penticton!
Best perogies ever. We are from Vancouver and once drove 4 hours to come here. No jokes. We ended up getting a bunch of frozen perogies to go. Very unassuming, very affordable. Highly, highly recommend this place.
What good food the pierogi cabbage rolls and meatballs were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant
Authentic polish cuisine! Just like Babausia use to make! The borscht I've had in years. A must try. Thank you for the great memories of my childhood.
