Fantastic winery with good drinks, great foods, and gorgeous view! We had scallops, sweet bun, pork ragu, and sable fish for dinner. Everything was really tasty and beautifully presented. A must-visit if you are in the area!
Such an amazing experience. Aaron helped us. Came from Vancouver, Learned so much about the poplar grove wines! The views from both the outside and the window was absolutely stunning. Amazing location for food as well we didn’t eat there but excellent menu and wonderful views and service! I learned so much from Aaron and I’ve never signed up for bottles of wine to my door but when I do (which will be soon) my first order will be poplar grove ! Thank you for making my first time memorable Aaron! Such immense service and help with everything

Delicious Pasta Night and great service
We have been coming to Poplar Grove for years and it was the perfect spot to get married. From the moment we started planning, we knew we were in the best hands. Tamara, the Food and Beverage Manager, was absolutely phenomenal. She made the entire process so fun and personal, customizing our menu in a way that felt truly “us.” Our tasting was unbelievable and honestly it was so hard to narrow things down because everything was that good.
The food on our wedding day was out of this world. Guests are still talking about it and we will forever be dreaming about those honey buns. The food and wine at Poplar Grove are some of the best in the Okanagan and the service and care behind it all made the experience unforgettable.
Poplar Grove was truly the picture perfect place for our wedding and we could not imagine celebrating anywhere else. If you are thinking about getting married here, do it. They only take on a handful of weddings each year and you can tell how much love and attention goes into each one. Even if you are not planning a wedding, you need to visit Poplar Grove. It is such a special place and one of our absolute favourites.
Worst wine tasting experience of our trip. Rude and disinterested staff. Served us the wrong wine and tried to cover up her mistake by saying they sometimes reuse their bottles so the bottle label may not match the wine being poured. Very sketchy. Seems like a disingenuous place.
Went in to place my order yesterday and ended up doing a wine tasting with Andrew. He was amazing very knowledgeable, patient and polite. Been there a few times now and can say that the service is always exceptional. Thank you
Say on Google you close at 5, we come in as a big group ready to spend $$$ for a tasting at 4:30 and your “closed”
We had lunch at Poplar Grove, and it was a wonderful experience. The place had EV chargers, which was super convenient. The view was amazing, and we enjoyed the warm sunlight while dining. We ordered the Mafalde, risotto, and local apple juice — everything was delicious. For dessert, we had the panna cotta, which was very nice. Our server, Bailey, was very friendly and nice to us. Highly recommended!
I am a wine club member here and had a lovely experience recently bringing my friend along for lunch one day and a tasting the next. The building is huge, spacious, and bright (as is the patio) and the view is stunning. The lunch service was slightly less friendly than what I have had there previously, but they were quite busy. The food was excellent (mushroom mafalde, tuna, burrata), as was the wine. For the tasting we were welcomed so warmly and had a great experience, including the chance to buy their gorgeous wine glasses, delicious chocolate, and their signature pasta. I am eager to see what the fall shipment will include as the wines are so tasty. Highly recommend!

Poplar Grove is hands-down our favorite spot in Penticton. The food, the views, and the atmosphere never disappoint. On our recent visit we tried the fried chicken and the garden risotto — both were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The flavors are fresh, balanced, and showcase the best of the Okanagan. Pair that with their wines and the stunning scenery, and you’ve got one of the best dining experiences in the region. Always looking forward to our next visit!
One of the most breathtaking views—vineyards rolling down to the lake, paired with exceptional wine and delicious food. A truly unforgettable experience worth the stop if your driving in wine country
Be honest. You're coming here for the views. To be fair, good size restaurant, efficient and friendly staff and the food is good too.
Really nice view, food and Of course, the wine.
We visited this winery and, sadly, the experience was thoroughly disappointing. From the outset, we were treated as though we knew nothing about wine, which came across as condescending rather than welcoming. We were left waiting close to 20 minutes for each pour, which is entirely unacceptable.
When we expressed our concerns to Laura at the managing desk, she showed little to no effort in addressing the situation. What made matters worse was watching other guests ahead of us being served more promptly and with far greater hospitality. It is unfair to provide such inconsistent treatment, especially when we had paid for the wine passport in good faith.
Compared to other wineries we visited many of which extended a far warmer, more professional welcome, often with complimentary touches his visit felt dismissive and poorly managed. Quite frankly, we expected much better.
