Poplar Grove Winery

Visited the winery hoping to enjoy some wine on their covered patio which was less than 1/2 full. Sat down and was asked to move outside under an umbrella while it was raining. Lady was very unfriendly and we wont be back. Lots of great wineries with fantastic service without having to deal with poor rude service.

This is a winery you can’t miss if you’re on the Naramata Bench! The views are immaculate and the wine and ambiance is to die for!!
Janet is absolutely amazing!! This is my first time going to the winery in over a year and she recognized me soon as I walked
in the door! She gave such a warm, welcoming, personalized experience!! I’ll definitely be going back in a heartbeat and requesting Janet (:

We were there for wine tasting and puchasing but unfortunatly the women on desk was very arrogant and she left us for coffee break without let us know . We never come back.

Not what I was expecting to be honest, quite condescending from start to finish, enjoyed the wine but will not be purchasing any as they clearly don’t need my business.
Interestingly we drove to another winery and have had a completely different experience and have enjoyed a great lunch and complimentary wine tasting.

My wife and I have been wine club members here for years and have enjoyed the restaurant many times as well, but yesterday was something special. We came a day early for Mother’s Day with my mother and our young kids (infant + 4 years). It was busy and we had a reservation at the restaurant and wine tasting. It was busy and we were a bit worried about having an infant with us, as we’ve been treated not so nicely at other high end wineries / restaurants when we have the kids with us.

All the staff were so friendly and accommodating for both our lunch and the tasting (which they brought us to a private room for), and a special thanks to Janet for being so patient and kind to us. Of course the food and wine are amazing but the service & people really set this place a part. Thanks for the great experience!

What a wonderful experience. We were celebrating my wife’s 90 birthday. The view is exceptional .
We had an early seating but we’re not rushed. We had three different entrees and they were all wonderful and delicious. Thank you Alex for making our evening special.

Went in for a tasting and to buy some bottles. Janet saw us and was absolutely spectacular. A consumate professional whose knowledge is only beaten by her personalized service. Spent time to explain and elaborate on aspects of the winery and wine at every opportunity. The tasting room menu looked amazing and the venue itself is equally breathtaking. What a place, what a winery, what wines!

Lunch was amazing, the wine tasting was generous. Wonderful experience. The view is incomparable.

Brunch was simply amazing. Views are first class / Service first class and the food was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Such a great winery and restaurant! We arrived early so we could start with a stellar wine tasting in the cozy Legacy Room (request it if it's available). Menu prices here are reasonable, and the setting is intimate with pano views of the Naramata bench and valley. The wines are excellent, especially the Benchmark, Reserve Chardonnay, and Malbec. We just became wine club members, so we now get a discount on both wines and restaurant meals. Love this place!

10 out of 5 ! Andrew our wine aficionado was charming and well read. He gave us a spectacular tasting and service which we won’t soon forget. The winery itself is beautiful and boasts fabulous views, a perfect atmosphere to enjoy these incredibly crafted wines. I will be back to try the amazing brunch menu they present.

Janet was amazing today. She understood exactly what we needed and adapted the tasting to fit us perfectly. We enjoyed the views the atmosphere and the hospitality. Janet, you were amazing and you made our experience perfect. We will definitely be back.

We went today for a girlfriend‘s birthday and Janet was absolutely amazing. She treated us like royalty and was so informative with the wine information. She gave us hints on where to go for a local dinner and was super hospitable. Thank you so much for an enjoyable afternoon and you absolutely made our day Janet!!!

I had the pleasure of doing a tasting with Andrew today, it was the most enjoyable and informed tastings I’ve had in years. He took me through 5 different wines, giving knowledge and opinion on each one. He guided me through the wine options available for purchase, and pointed out which ones I may enjoy based on my reaction to the tastings. I will be coming back specifically to do a tasting with him. Outstanding job!

We just enjoyed our second Autumn Pick-Up Party and what an incredibly well organized event it was. Staff far exceeded expectations, the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The entire event was overall a stunning success. Just one more benefit to being a member of their Wine Club.
Thanks to the entire crew at Poplar Grove for another wonderful afternoon.
