Good beer, but the food is not up to grade, especially considering the local competition.
Service is usually good, but one of the servers will openly treat you like an inconvenience.
The atmosphere is good when the place is full, but on quiet nights they still play the music way too loud and it can kill the mood when you're looking for a chill drink.

The beer is, so so. Not sure why the rating grants a 4.4 star, must be the atmosphere of the actual brewery. Drinking the tropical IPA, and it is more bitter than sweet, but to be fair I was enjoying a Malty National brew earlier and my pallet is expecting something refined.

Was honestly really excited to come here and was extremely disappointed. Our server Meggie was not welcoming and she was very rude. She did not seem to care to give us the time of day. We asked her for her opinion and she said “I don’t know, I don’t drink”…. Was not friendly or nice. Will never come back & will tell everyone to avoid.

Typically i really enjoy Slackwater. Although this evening from 8-930 pm my friends and i were served by a miserable individual. she clearly dislikes her job as she was extremely rude. she did not offer us menu’s , food or last call. after 1 drink she told us she wanted off so we had to settle up… we were left sitting there hoping some other server would come take our drink order at 9:20… yet she’s sitting at bar drinking. super distasteful. also leaving hungry

Darren was pouring our flights today. Really good tasting beer, seems like they have about six flagship beers that they will brew all the time, and have several that either rotate, or they try new things all the time. This brewhouse makes some pretty exciting craft beer. At the time that we came to sample their brew, we were a little hungry so decided to have some food. I’ve got to say, this is one of the better burgers I’ve had in recent memory. And the fries were really good. If you enjoy beer and want a good lunch, this is the place to go.

Incredible joint in town! Super fun vibe, every beer tried on a flight was a hit, and blown away by the food. We had the Liam’s spicy chicken burger and the smash burger, both with hand cut fries. We fawned over them both, and tried each others, and were just soooo impressed. From personal experience, we have found breweries with great beer dont always have the best of their own food as well, but this place excels at both.
Incredible food and delicious beer, friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Would come back again in a heart beat!
