Delicious food, attentive and lovely staff. If you are an omnivore don't miss the bone marrow popcorn!
I love this winery it is so Fiona's will Definitely go back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor patio areas. We had a lovely lunch, very tasty but my friend sent his steak back because the whole dish was cold and served on cold plates. He was told the steak is cold because it has to sit and rest after cooking, our friend was slightly amused as he is a chef! Despite this we would still go back as it is a lovely wine and dining experience.
Very nice spot for lunch. The food was good, specially the beet appetizer. The portions aren't generous, but we are light eaters so for us it was fine. The service was good and friendly. The wines offered with lunch were of good quality but not memorable, compared to other winery restaurants we have visited in the Okanagan for over a week. The one point for the management to address is not to bring the bill to customers that haven't asked for it. I had to politely ask the server to go away after she came with the credit card machine while we were still enjoying our wine. Other than that the servers were all very polite and attentive.
Amazing food and views here — what a windup experience at the end of an incredibly fun day touring on the Naramata Bench for myself and my wife. We will be back next time we're visiting !
Great Restaurant and winery. Great service. Our server Ellen was 5 star. Great personality and knowledge. Thank you Ellen. Our food was excellent.
We joined family, whom we hadn't seen in ages. We had a wonderful evening, reconnecting, enjoying a delicious meal, and imbibing wonderful wine. The ambience was wonderful, the service exceptional, and the food was outstanding.
There wasn't much on the menu. A few shareables, a vegi dish, a fish dish, a meat dish, and tacos. Not too hungry so we ordered tacos, four to an order so two orders of those. Tiny but filling although not tasty unless the super-hot sauce was added. No sign of our server once the food was dropped, in stark contrast to the table next to us whose server was extremely attentive. We often enjoyed Hillside in the past but wouldn't now go back.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Food was OUTSTANDING as well as the service!!! If you havent been there...you MUST GO THERE!! Chef Evan Robertson is AMAZING!! I will be going back!!!!

Perfect view, perfect wine, perfect food. Staff were excellent. A must visit to Naramata, you will love it too.
We came in with kids, not an ideal place for children but they totally took care of us. Our server Ben was great. We will go back

There was little taste in the elderflower crème brûlée. A stronger flavour e.g. lemon or apricot would have worked better for me. I dislike the idea of having bacon garnish with salmon so I opted for the lamb. The lamb was good but I really didn't enjoy the pickled carrots. Okanagan carrots are so good why mess them up with pickle? For me simple roasted carrots would have been much better. Overall I think the menu was pretentious. The wine was very good.
We had our Anniversary dinner, we had the best table on the upper patio with awesome view of the vineyards and lake. Service and food were fantastic, we will certainly be back again.
Three of us ordered olives and the elk tartare to share. We each ordered a different first course (duck carpaccio, perogie, bococcini salad) and different mains as well (mushroom tart, salmon, pork belly and scallops) all to allow cross-sampling (too good not to share). Follow through with the creme brule and pavlova for desserts. All the food was delicious and the wine pairings spot-on. Service was friendly and professional. The upper (sheltered) deck provided an exceptional view of their vineyards and Lake Okanogan. Overall a fantastic meal.
