Came here December 11, 2024 with my husband, my parents and our 16 month old son to celebrate two of our birthdays. The service was phenomenal, our food was delectable and the wine and cocktails were fabulous. Thank you again for an amazing meal and being welcoming to our little one.

Kid-friendliness: We brought our 16 month old son and they had a high chair for him and when he was being fussy at the table, we were able to walk him around the wine tasting area to distract him for a few minutes. A party was happening in the main restaurant and they even allowed a mom with a younger child to feed her son in the legacy room which was nice to see that they were happy to accommodate a breastfeeding mom.

We celebrated a birthday here and had an amazing, unforgettable evening. The service was outstanding – attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. The food was some of the best we’ve ever tasted, each dish packed with incredible flavors.

The view from the window was breathtaking, adding to the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The wine selection was fantastic and complemented our meal perfectly.

Overall, it was a wonderful night, and we can’t wait to come back!

I enjoyed a lovely birthday meal recently. The food had colour, height and eye appeal with great seasonal flavor profiles. Our server Juniper was very professional and attentive. The maitre d Gabrielle was eloquent and attentive. Compliments to the culinary team for a superb experience. I will definitely return.

Don’t know what the fuss is. Chef may have been off the night our party of 6 attended. The striploin tasted like spam, the halibut and salmon were dry, the duck breast too smothered in sauce to appreciate and the porcini pasta had enough salt to choke a horse. Despite an abundance of servers (most wearing their game faces) we had to keep asking for water to quench the salt overload. Appies were OK but minuscule for the price and honey buns good… but really? … any bakery will do. Finally, the wine… the pinot was good but there are better bottles of shiraz at the BCLDB for under $12. Sorry guys, you’ll have to do better - beautiful views and good food shouldn’t be mutually incompatible.

Just sooooo friggen good. Sheesh didn’t even remember to mention the view! Get there for the sunset! Thank you for having us and hope to be back again soon!

This is not our first lunch at Poplar Grove, but probably our best. It was nice to be so warmly welcomed back by Sabrina and Lauren and our server Jennifer was very good and knowledgeable. The chefs, Stacy and Minette are excellent, I would highly recommend having a lunch at Poplar Grove and enjoy the view (the wine’s not bad either)

Definitely the best restaurant across the board we had the pleasure of visiting in the area. Food, atmosphere, view, and service are all amazing! I highly recommend enjoying a meal here but make sure you book a reservation as they're very busy.

The Holler Honey Buns are delicious. I also loved the Farmer Greens salad which was surprising large and great for sharing. I enjoyed all three mains we tried with various highlights in each of the Wild BC Salmon, Dry-aged Duck Breast, and Grass-fed Striploin. I strongly recommend the Buttermilk Panna Cotta for dessert.

Both the covered patio area and the inside tables are nice with great views although the outside is probably the best. There is a great grassy area for kids to play on or for adults to take a few scenic photos at during your meal. There are also four EV destination chargers in the parking area.

My boyfriend took me here for dinner on my birthday and it was honestly one of the greatest dining experiences we’ve shared. Our server, Jennifer’s timing was perfect and her wine/food knowledge was impeccable! She helped me find dishes that were dairy free and started us with a couple of half glasses of the Monster Brut to celebrate the special occasion. All of the food was delicious and the scenery was incredible. Everything was reasonably priced as well!
