Surrounded by floral Greek interior vibe, we had a lovely full course dinner starting from the warm delicious pita bread, followed by yummy souvlaki and calamari. Even the painting on the washroom doors are very cool.

I cannot overstate how disappointed I am at how far this fabulous restaurant has fallen. I used to rate this 5 stars and recommended it to everyone I knew.

The food was cold. We ordered several dishes, and were disappointed in all but one. My pregnant wife specified that she couldn’t consume alcohol- specifically asking about the Saganaki cheese dish. I wish I was making this up: the server brought out the saganaki, claimed that the alcohol would burn off in the cooking process, and it came out (not on fire as it’s supposed to) - she attempted to light it with the lighter, failing both times, shrugged, and walked away. We’re still laughing about how poor this experience was.

Spend your money elsewhere, this is not the wonderful place it used to be :(

Had takeout from Theos. Ordered two (2) Lamb Shoulder dishes , that tasted great, though lamb portion sizes were meaningfully different between dishes. Ordered the Orekteka/Mezethes and was very disappointed. The dish was missing half the ingredients. Only included a number of spoonfuls of the three (3) dips and a couple slices of cucumber and three olives. Missing feta cheese, seafood salata, and tapenade dip. So paid $21 for half a dish, very upsetting.

Theo’s is a charming and welcoming Greek restaurant that offers a fantastic experience for vegetarians. The cozy Mediterranean ambiance and attentive service make it feel like a home away from home.

Their vegetarian options are flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. The spanakopita is perfectly flaky and filled with fresh spinach and feta. The vegetarian moussaka, layered with eggplant, zucchini, and potatoes, is hearty and rich. The dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) are fresh and tangy, and the Greek salad is vibrant, with crisp vegetables, creamy feta, and just the right amount of dressing.

Start with the tzatziki and warm pita, and definitely don’t miss the baklava for dessert — sweet, nutty, and delicious. The portion sizes are generous, and the ingredients always taste fresh.

With a great selection of wines and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Theo’s is a must-visit for vegetarians and Greek food lovers alike.

We've been going here since 1988. The decore and layout is amazing. Atmosphere and service good. But the food was shockingly disappointing this time around but was not so before. We all ordered dishes that featured the staples of Greek potatoes rice and carrots plus a souflaki or salmon or mousaka. We got tired lumps of food that looked and tasted and probably had sat in a warming dish since the day before. Even more annoying some of us had ordered the same dish but recieved completely different portions sizes of rice carrots potatoes etc. Hopefully this was a one off bad day...

We went to Theo’s back in 1977 for the first time as a young married couple and as well dining frequently in the late 70’s when we were attending conferences in Penticton.

Good but not great food and service. A little noisy but that is to be expected when they're busy.

Booked well in advance and I’m not sure but at least 1-2 months and the day of the reservation I got a text from Theos

Sir I have reached out to the other party and I'm waiting for a response. I'm not sure if you've ever owned a business but there is this thing called human error and I apologize for that your reservation was taken remotely the person who took the reservation could not see that it was already booked second of all please with respect do not patronize me I appreciate the fact you would like to come to Theo's but this reservation is not prepaid in fact our system is manual mistakes are made I'm doing my best to resolve it I'll revert to you when I hear back from the other party

I’ve owned a business and would have handled this a lot differently and never heard about pre paying for a reservation
