Our favourite restaurant in Penticton. Great food, friendly staff and such warm atmosphere. Theo’s is a must-visit whenever we are in Penticton. Prices are high but worth it, big portions and delicious. We had the Mediterranean ribs, excellent just wish it came with tzatziki cause who doesn’t love tzatziki. Can’t wait to come back!

As soon as you walk in, the smell of wood smoke hits you, and you instantly know you’re somewhere special. Even though the fireplaces weren’t burning when I was there, you can tell they use them. That subtle wood smoke scent hangs in the air and gives the whole place this warm, old world feel. Theo’s has one of the coolest atmospheres I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. It’s cozy and dim, with massive timber beams overhead and a layout that feels like a hidden maze of different rooms and levels. There are plants growing inside, people tucked away in every corner, and the whole building feels like something from another era, built with materials and craftsmanship you just don’t see anymore. And the food absolutely delivers. I had the rack of lamb, and it was honestly some of the best lamb I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and done right. The Greek salad was phenomenal too, made with real olive oil and fresh ingredients, and you can taste the difference immediately. This place is a gem. I’ll be back as often as I can.

The quality of the food was terrible. The potato was extremely hard, almost as if it was served just before being thrown away. It was absolutely not worth the price. Don’t waste your money. I will never come back.
Enjoyed a really lovely meal by the fireplace for six of us celebrating a 90th birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meals & the birthday Rovani with the candle was a thoughtful & appreciated touch. Thank you especially for the kind & patient service.

Went for dinner with my best friend and showed up an hour earlier than our reservation time. They were very accommodating and we were seated at our table. The atmosphere is warm and inviting between the Greek/Mediterranean decor and the crackling wood fires with candles on every table. Our waitress was attentive and very gracious but not in a clingy way. She went out of her way to make me a double espresso and answer any questions we had. We started with a cheese dish brought to us literally on fire (delicious) and shared the lamb shoulder. The portions were so large that we both ate and took leftovers. The upstairs sections are so beautiful with the paintings/tapestries and beautiful rustic wood floors that creaked but it was like a song of the ancestors. I highly recommend Theos for the food, the service, the ambiance and the experience!
