My new favourite winery in the Okanagan! 🍷

How can you complain when wine is perfectly paired with cheese? It was such a thoughtful and delicious experience.

We also ordered the pizza, which was absolutely brilliant—fresh, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the wine.

The food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience were all perfect. I’m already looking forward to many more visits as a loyal customer!

Wonderful experience. Friendly staff, nice service, great pizza and cheese tasting.
We ended up buying 5 pieces of cheese. Double Brie is a must.

We did a wine and cheese pairing and it was so fun! We loved the double brie - it was to die for! Not a Chardonnay fan, but the estate Chardonnay was very smooth and delicious. Such a fun outside patio to sit at and relax!

Cute spot, friendly spot but the wines were ok, group preference.
Having to pay extra to be able to sit vs standing tasting seems unnecessary, more when there tables are empty.

It’s okay, cheese is good, but the wine tasting was way too expensive for the taste of the vodka. Most places here are between $8 and $15, but this place was $25! To wave that fee, you had to buy two bottles, which most places only ask you to buy one. Honestly, the wine bottle isn’t worth it. Plus, they didn’t allow dogs, even though every other winery allowed them.

Fantastic pizza, service, view and setting. We had an outstanding lunch there and also thoroughly enjoyed our glass of pinot blanc.

It was our first time at Upper Bench Winery and it was suggested we try the wine and cheese pairing. Not only was Aaron fabulous at guiding us through the pairing, but Brenda who made our pizza also surprised us with a desert to celebrate our time in Penticton!
We left with 2 house made cheeses and 2 bottles of wine and couldn't have enjoyed our experience more!

Very unwelcoming place. The virtue-signalling host throwing his way around, just itching to throw an angry tantrum over a parking spot.... really?

Stopped in to buy some cheese. Amazingly good. A definite stop next trip. We bought Moody Cow, Okanagan Sun & King Cole. All made the trip home and were simply excellent! World class. Next time we’re buying wine. Based on the quality of the cheese, I’m predicting their wine should be excellent. My rating is 10/10 for cheese. Well worth making the trip. I had no idea BC was producing cheese of this quality. Highly recommended.

Wow, I can’t say enough about a wonderful experience I had at the upper bench with my spouse. We have been looking for a place that has wine and Woodfire oven pizza and we came upon another place before we arrived at upper bench. They had turned us away because they couldn’t accommodate so we were so disappointed and went to numerous places that either didn’t serve food or didn’t serve pizza not to mention wood fired/gas oven and as we were driving back, we came upon The Upper Bench winery and Creamery for the first time. This establishment encompasses all things a restaurant Winery should have… friendly staff, wonderful wine & cheeses Pizza and ambiance. And great service… The server welcomed us with a huge smile and couldn’t do enough for us so pleasant and professional . I met the owners and they we’re absolutely lovely and welcoming. The feeling when you walk in was one of warmth & welcoming. It was a shaded area so you didn’t have to feel hot in the baking sun.. The beverages were fantastic. The Rose & Reserve Chardonnay amazing!!…. But then came the best pizza I’ve ever tasted in my life truly and I’ve tasted so many. We shared the king pizza with their lovely cheeses and prosciutto made right there it’s undeniable the difference that made in the toppings but it’s the CRUST I have not come across that crust anywhere in the Okanagan let alone any places on the mainland and travelling abroad. Crust was light, airy crispy, no soggy, and the flavour of the crust is amazing like I’ve never tasted before….. in a word PERFECTION!! I told my spouse we need to order another one as we live half an hour away, and I don’t think I could go without another one that week lol we have found our new go to place in Naramata now. So what started as a disappointing day being turned away from another restaurant turned into an AMAZING find!!.

Do yourselves a favour go check it out you will feel very welcome……wishing them all the very best now and in the future with this fantastic establishment! I miss them already! We WILL be back! Highly Highly recommend!!

Paid $20 for a double cream brie that is completely ruined (google ammonia brie)
